There bis a cache just off of Highway 5, right by the Sacramento Airport. It is Leavin'on a Jet Plane. Waypoint GCC594. The area has enough room for a turn around. It is close to a Fast Food Gas Station.

Cogratulations Peter, all the cachers in the Sacramento area wish you a speedy next 500. By the way can you let L.I.S. tag along so he can cach up to another old foggy.

Don't knock technology. I made a Radiating Antenna that I can place my Garmin Legend on and it works like a charm. I was under heavy tree cover looking for a cache and when I turned it on EUREKA it took me right to it. I forgot to mention that I put a piece of metal under my cap and the magnetic antenna base just latches on to it.

How does the overall Geocahing community think of having a mass Geocaching hunt?

When we get together next week I shall point it out to you(if we see any). Some people are very alergic to this weed while others seem to be able to tolerate it, myself (touch wood) have not been affected yet!!!

Geeze I missed the Pizza & Lights and the Stockton Blitz.We have had more overnight family guests this year than any of the past many years. I think this is the first time that all my grandchildren and Greatgrandchildren have managed to visit the old homestead. So I passed on both of the events. But on the bright side, there will be more events. I wish all my Geocaching friends a very merry Xmas and a Happy New Year. Putt & Mrs Putt....

I think this is a great idea and I am looking foreward to paticipate with a wonderful group of cachers.

I was over in the UK this past July and I found 28 caches, with help from my son-in-law, Lost in Space. I set a cache (Putts Herts Hideaway) which is 5,262 miles from my drive way in Rancho Murieta CA. My furthest find was 5,358 miles, Standsted Travel Bug Hotel (Essex). As a side comment on my caching in the UK, I found that most of all the caches were set on Public Pathways which traverse the whole UK, and make setting and finding a very pleasant experiance.

Congrats to that great feat. I am very proud that it was my cache that put you up at the top. As far as your posting, if you continue to play golf the way you did in our match I would consider taking up Geocaching full time. Also when that cache was set we took into the 35 foot error factor.

You should contact "Kimbo" I think he is the Geo Caching guru in this area.
