Does anyone have the sequence for returning all settings to the factory default? This is for a Garmin 60 C. Sorry I posted it twice, fat fingers and no brains.

I have not heard of any auto manufacturers that publish the specs of their windshield glass.

There is a metalic coating on my wind shield which kepps out the sun rays, unfortunately it keeps out signals from the satilites. My gps worked fine in other cars.

I had a GPS V, when I bought a new Buick Rendezvous and the GPS could not get a signal through the wind shield. So I bought an external antena with a BNC connection. That solved the problem, but I just got a 60 S and I needed an adapter cable with a MCX male connection to a female BNC. I located one at Gilsson. Now I am back in the sky. With that adapter I do not have to remove it from the 60 S, cause it is one tight fit.

I just bought an early Xmas present, a Garmin 60C. Now I just have to learn how to drive this model. I sent my GPS V back to the UK with Lost in Space. My question is, are there any forums or web pages like the one by the Elsinga Family. for the 60C?http://www.elsinga.net/portal/index.php

There is one Cache puzzle in the sacramento area by Jeeplife, it is called Square Off. Try it and you may like it. I just finished it three days ago.

I solved the problem ...I bought a Garmin GPS V. Now I just have to get it to work with me!!!

I do have a radiating antena, and it was a hit or miss reception. I have resolved the problem tho...I bought a Garmin GPS V, It arrived today so tomorro is the day of destiny. Mrs Putt says I only bought a new car so I had the reason to get another GPS...not a bad thought!

Beware when you buy a new car. I purchased a new Buick Rendezvour and my Garmin Legend will not lock on to any satalites consistantly. Brcause the windscreen has been treated with a film to reflect the sun rays, ie satalites also. Solution buy a GPS that has an external antenna.

Me thinks he "Stutters"

I recently purchased a new (2004) Buick Rendezvous and my Garmin Ledgend will not pick up any satalites because of the coating on the front window. You can get a sparodic signal once in a while. I have tried a radiating antenna but it is also sparodic. Other than getting another GPS are ther any suggrstions???

i Spoke to Garmin yesterday on a different matter and they said that they were not offering any rebates or discounts at this time.
