Well, GPS is back to about a 14 foot average accuracy again. Weird GPS day today!

I was curious if anyone else is having problems with accuracy today. Both my GPS units can only get an accuracy of 225 feet+. Anyone else with this issue?

Now the only way we will ever forgive you is if you come down here and do Atlantis III. LOL.

One of our more adventuresome cachers put out another one of our EASY Sacramento caches. Try out Atlantis III the curse. Take some courage with you!

You thought Atlantis III was fun??? ok...it was a little fun and my cats seem to be quite attracted to me this evening. I think it might be time for a shower.

Here is one we did that ended us up indoors. This was a very very clever cache. The GPS got us to and open area, and then you had to solve the riddle to figure out where to go. Once inside....more riddles. This was an ingenious cache. I loved it. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=12953

Don't give up your standards opey one. We are becoming complacent and without standards! The more violence we see, the less we see anything wrong with it. Killing games for kids is moraly wrong and objectionable. Any parent in their right mind would find it objectionable to let their kids find entertainment in pretending they were murdering, maiming and hurting people.
Nuff said. Wrong forum, right idea!

Took my GPS several times with me on flights to North Carolina and Hawaii from CA. Just got back from a flight to NC on Continental Airlines. They treated it just like any other electronic device on board. They requested it was off during take-off and landing. You have to have a window seat for it to work. (At least with mine you did). Some people have asked permission others have just used it and figured they would turn it off if requested. You will have to use your best judgement there. As far as the screeners go at the baggage counter, nobody ever asked me. I would make sure it has fresh batteries and is operational if asked to turn it on. I have not flown since they have added new federal employee screeners, so things may be different now. It should be fine.

Just got back from a trip to North Carolina to visit my daughter in college near Charlotte. Took a trip up to the Brevard area and weathered Isador rain to do some caching. William and son falls in Creek and Cache N Dash were two caches I did while I was there. Beautiful country. While near Badin I also tried Enchanted Endever. Had a blast doing all three caches! Most of all I would like to say how wonderful the people of North Carolina are. Nicer people you will never meet. I am from Northern California. Thank you all for your kindness (yes cpnmidnite found his glasses) thanks to the kindness of a hiker who went out of his way to turn them in at the State Park Gate. What a great state you have. Don't change a bit!!!

I found a button that you place under a toilet seat lid that reminds you to put the seat down!

My husband will go geocaching if there isn't anything else to do....my 17 year old son used to go, but now girls seem to be more important. Luckily my 80 year old dear dad loves it. He is in excellent shape and actually wears me out sometimes. He has planted a couple of caches himself. I guess, like father like daughter.

I have a very old cache in Maui that has been there close to twenty years. If anyone is going to Maui and plans on doing some geocaching, could you let me know. Perhaps I can sent some maintenance items to you.
Thanks in advance,
McIrish
