  1. Yes, please bring back the plain mail version. I often read e-mails on my mobile, and there is a big difference in the amount of data, so thats one more reason for plain text.
  2. Is it correct that I get Reviewer Note notifications for caches on my watchlist? (I am not an reviewer!)
  3. Hello? Anyone at Groundspeak reading this? Please, can somebody at least give a status about this?
  4. This happened some times before already, an then it was allways a problem with Groundspeak. Maybe they will answer in the thread in the correct forum: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=289137 (sorry for cross posting)
  5. Sorry, I didn't say clearly where this happens... I try to send one single cache with the "Send to my GPS"-Button in the cache listing. No need to have a card in the GPSR. No need to have the device shown on the desktop. Just one single cache. Neither PQ nor multi cache GPX file.
  6. Hello Today I installed the brand-new Garmin Communicator Plug-In 64 Bit. My device (Etrex Vista HCX) is marked as found, but sending a cache to the device does not work. No error message, no beep, just the line saying "/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/GarminGpsControl.plugin/Contents/Resources/GPX10toGPX11.xsl" I run this on Mac OS X 10.7.2 with Firefox 9.0.1. With Safari 5.1.2, the plug-in says "Geocache GC<xxxxx>.gpx saved successfully", but the cache is not sent. Is the new plug-in not supported by Groundspeak yet?

  8. At the moment, both Safari and Firefox work once and not again. After restart, again once, ans so on. :-(
  9. No, I don't think that this problem is cache page specific. Because after restarting Safari, it work with the 1st cache, the 2nd cache fails. After restarting Safari it works with the 2nd which ist then the 1st cache, and the next fails. This is a problem "Send to GPS" has with Safari. And I know the other ways to transfer caches. But why going one of these ways when the short way could work also? So, Groundspeak Team, please help! ;-) Der Macfuddl
  10. Hi Still I have problems with "Send to GPS" Firefox works fine. But the problem is still there with Safari 3.1 on Mac PPC OSX 10.4.11: I installed "Garmin Communicator Plugin for Mac software version 2.3.2.0 as of December 18, 2007". But the Garmin test page tells me I'm runnig an older version ?!? This is a pity because geocaching runs much faster on Safari as on Firefox. Will there be a fix? Der Macfuddl
  11. Hi there Again there are problems with the "Send to GPS"-function. When I press "Write", the message "Geocache GCxxxx.gpx saved successfully" appears, but nothing is sent. But sometimes - I couldn't reproduce the circumstances - it works for one or to caches. Sometimes it helps to write the same cache two-three-four times, sometimes it doesn't. I have this problem on Mac PPC OSX 10.4.11 with Firefox 2.0.0.12 and with Safari 3. But its the same on a PC running Vista and Firefox 2.0.0.12. It would be nice if you could help.
  12. On the page "Hide and seek a cache", the search by address does not work. When I type in a place's name an press "Go" (btw, why did "enter" never work here?), nothing happens. The Browser just says "ready" ("fertig" in german Firefox) oder "done" in IE I have this problem using: Mac OS X 10.4.11 -> Safari 3 Mac OS X 10.4.11 -> Firefox 2.0.0.11 Mac OS X 10.4.11 -> iCab Win Vista -> Firefox 2.0.0.11 Win XP -> IE 7 on different machines Win XP -> Firefox 2.0.0.11 on different machines The latter dislays an error message: "Line: 240 Char: 17 Error: 'AddressDetails.Accuracy' is nut or not an object Code: 0 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/" The other "Go"-Buttons work fine. The problem started yesterday evening at about 10pm (CET) while using the search. It worked fine for a time, then suddenly, the problem appeared. I would be glad if this error could be fixed soon.

    Send to GPS

I'm experiencing the same :-( Also discussed here: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=175153
  14. I tried Communicator with the latest versions of the Mac OS, Safari and Firefox to a Garmin GPSmap 76CS with the latest firmware. Using either browser the window says: "Geocache (GCxxxx) geocache saved successfully" (redundant wording could be cleaned up) but it does not, in fact, upload the waypoint to the receiver. Confirmed this several times with different waypoints. Argl, yes, it seems to work but doesn't... The caches I transferred yesterday were saved as waypoints to the Garmin, not as geocaches as it was before. But... it's the same on Windows XP: Caches appear as waypoints on the Garmin, not as geocaches. So this is not a problem with the Mac.
  15. No problem ;-) Works fine again, thanks a lot :-)
  16. I wouldn't have complained without re-installing before ;-) An yes, works fine with Firefox on Windows XP.... BTW: worked fine on Mac yesterday ;-)
  17. Hi I'm experiencing problems with Garmin Communicator Plugin version 2.2.1.0 on Mac OSX 10.4.10 with Firefox 2.0.0.7. The message "Garmin Communicator Plugin NOT detected. Download and install now." is displayed after clicking "Send to GPS". The Garmin test page says: "Garmin Communicator Plugin Test Page Communicator Plugin is properly installed and up to date, version 2.2.1.0. Garmin GPS device is detected and communicating properly:" I tested it on 2 Macs. Didn't work on either. I would be glad if you can fix this. Macfuddl
