  1. I use GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife/Kit/whatever....) downloadable from the web. Small fee payable, but well worth it. From that you can export a custom POI file to your TomTom directly which gives the greater part of the info required as regards cache location etc. It also allows you to export multiple cache locations direct to your GPS rather than adding them one at a time. Worthwhile peice of software, although there are others out there as well....
  2. Hopefully some of you clever folks up and down the country can advise.... A group of cachers im my area were out for a Christmas meet at a local pub and, as often happens once the dry sherry and canapes are served, thoughts turn to the next p!$$ up poetry evening... .... and it was suggested that a canal barge be hired and we partake of a long weekend/week/whatever to complete what must be a bookmarked series of caches en masse. Thus the question - anyone point us in the direction of whats where? Tried manually looking at the cachemap locations and found a couple of contender routes around the Liverpool/Manchester area, but would like to consider other areas. ta!
  3. Managed to get a coin at the Millets in both Glenrothes and Dundee. Anyone got a Big ben coin they want to swap for an Angel or London Eye? Got a specific use for Mr Ben, if I can get an unactivated one........
  4. Not wanting to sound rude but that means approximately zilch to newby me.... I am more thn happy that i can simply double tap the map and get the words i need to read... Any chance of explaining the above in techno-simplistic words of a semi sylable to an eejit such as me?
  5. Just added the above to my kit for the first time. What a difference! Instead of faffing about trying to find a listing in cachemate after trying to remember the cache name in mem-map, a simple double tap opens the info straight away. Thanks, from a technical idiot.....
