I have tried all. have Iphone software 4.2 cleared the cache and history in Safari nad guess I have 1.2 of Pigo as I have Km instead of miles but it still not work. The only way for me to download a cartridge is to connect to Itumes go to programs and down to PiGo document transfere and load the cartridge by downloading from the Wherigo page to the computer and then into Iphone over Itunes

I can't log in either to download a cartridge I want to test. If I go to My Home, I can log in, but when I select one of my own cartridges so I can field test my signed in state doesn't carry forward. I bought a brand new Ipad and had the same problem to download a cartridge. It is no way possible to download a cartridge on the Wherigo page over the PiGo interface (download) I can sign by pressing "home" but when I have selected the country ond try to download the cartridge then it requires new "sign in" and then you try again "around and around"

I have tried it on two of my cartridges in Sweden and it workes nice. The accuracy is not so good as in oregon 550 and it shows distance only in US feet not metric. As the display is big it looks nice and bright. Some of the pictures I have in the game comes out 90degree wrong but it is ok. I had to extend the zones about 30% as I did not hit the zone in the first I tried but as I know were the zones were I stayed until the information came up but for a normal player they have I go around a bit to find the center.The creators of cartridges has to test it and extend the zones in some places. The application is nice and saves the game good and is not effected if you get a call in the middle of the game. Use the wizard (.tools/wizard) There you can make a simple cartridge with 3 zones ant a a coin to collect in each zone. This you can build out to your liking j-annie sweden

I have made a 7 pages guide to produce a simple Wherigo with tips and trick(but up to now only in Swedish). I base it on the Wizard (tools/wizard). With that you can do a 3 step simple Wherigo and pic up coins along the way. We in Sweden have extra problems as we have letters with dots over (ÅÄÖ). I have at present 25 pupils on my dropbox and 3 has already created theire own cartridges. I have made 6 and had a lot of problems and made the guide to help people and get more Wherigo´s in Sweden. I might translate it in a couple of weeks if you are intrested and create a dropbox for the English version as well j-annie Sweden

You have no possibilities to recover your files. I have had many errors like your but I have lernt from this. Tip: Work with all files and photos in a folder and slowly build up the structure. Save Lua och publiced file (.gwc) there and when you have made some changes and all works well(i.e you got a working gwc file.that works in the emulator) Save the whole folder on an other location. Continue in small steps. Do not remove any picture if you exchange a picture in the editor but leave it in the folder. Continue and aftera few new steps that worked well save again the complete folder to your backup place. If it crash you delete the whole workfolder or at least all LUa, GWC and backup files and try again by taking your saved backup files (or the whole folder). In this way you learn by your misstakes. Make a small testprogram with the wizzard and before you introduce any noveltiest in your program test it there. I have named my testprogram " walking with the dog" and placed it from my door around the block. My dog loves it and I can test new trick on the same time. I have 4 working published j-annie sweden

You can download most of the Wherigo caches from http://www.Wherigo.com/ and run them in the emulator but for many you need to collect information from the place itself to reach the target. No problems. use the muliple message box option then you must accept to get the mext.

The map option works only in US I think. The simple way is to use the create zone point with "set" and then "generate points" where you get an option about zone size. If you want to change you have to delete the 4 points generated and start anew. In my The Lord of the Rings http://www.Wherigo.com/cartridge/details.a...82-e26d0e4f0242 is the ring placed in a zone and I have "take" command. Now I have introduced a "drop" command and an explanation where to drop it because the player brings it along 7 zones. But I can not have it "hidden" as the ring must be visable until dropped.Now how to drop it in the proper zone. Which command shall I use ?

I have put as a "task" and set it visable and true in the zone and if they do I close the cartridge

simplest is to use the wizzard 2nd pulldown in the builder, Set a name starting locations and 3 streets. You can easy change these coodinates later by delete 4 times ,set coordinates and generate points. This is a small trip with 3 zones were you pick up coins. The continue to add media small pictures 320*320 and replace the figures in the wizzard. Save and create cartridge to your maschine.Keep all pictures and files in one folder and copy the whole folder ton a backup place every tine it works well, Good luck

Try the wizard. That gives you a simple trip with 3 steps . Check how it is built and add media and modify it but leave all the pictures in the same folder as you have the LUA file. Publish to you machine and run it with the emulator. Thats a god start. You can modify and exchange the base figures but do not remove them from the folder then it will crasch. Copie the complete folder somewhere else and do this often j-annie I have made 3 now but the first one took 1 week. sweden

I have been trying to build en 10 step Wherigo LUA file and tried to convert it to a playable GWS file . It works for an while 5-6 steps (I save LUA on the way) then it is not possible to open the LUA file anymore and I can not open the old either.
