  1. I am just wondering if it is rare that people do not have any technical problems with their Delorme PN-40? It seems that most people have issues with batteries, and also the unit freezing up.
  2. It may not be a bad idea just to save your self the trouble in creating too good of a hint or a bad hint, and not use a hint at all. Just increase the difficulty level of the cache.

    Old Caches

I agree about what you said about "social, and weather factors" If its an oldie, most ogf the local regulars have already hit it.
  4. I take it that is fair game to place a cache near where an archived cache was in the past? I would imagine so. There are so many caches from years ago that are not active anymore and were in great locations that I would love to take over If there's anyone who has any input on this it would be great. Thanks
  5. About the Duracell Vs. Energizer thing...I have bench tested: alkalines, and NiMh from the two companies. I was non-biased during the tests over a period of time...and I found that the Energizer batterys lasted the longest over the Duracell. (test done relating to my R/C car hobby) Hope this helps, geeyo
  6. Its intresting how this has turned into a hair color topic....big whoop! hair is hair...its just there
  7. I have heard good arguements on both sides of the fence about trading items for travel bugs or not.I thought it would be good to start a thread about this subject because I have heard it mentioned from time to time, and Im curious too. If the etiquette is to trade something for the finding of a travel bug, what would be the proper value of an item to trade for the taking? Personally im new to this...I have been keeping track of cache activity around my area for some time now...and im getting my new GPS unit this week! Feedback on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Geeyo
