Darn, I missed the reservations. I love your earth turtles and just got a 2007 in the mail. At least I have one of your original petroglyphs in my office I can look at occasionally.

I live near a summer resort lake. I know there are at least two if not more caches on this lake now that the cache owner does not live in this area. It appears a couple owners live out of state. I have also seen at least two caches over the past couple years be archived because they aren't maintained due to the cache owner planting the cache and not coming back to maintain it. I just sit back and wait for them to be archived because the cache owner will just archive it instead of taking care of it or removing it. One owner hasn't signed into geocaching.com since June and two of his caches are reported to be in poor condition so it will only be a matter of time before it is archived and left at the lake`. The problem is that if I want to seek the cache and have to rent a canoe or boat to find it I don't want to have a dnf because you aren't maintaining the cache or the log is wet, etc. My personal opinion is that if you don't live in the area or you don't visit the area on a regular basis (more than 3 times a year for boating) year round, don't place the cache.

All of a sudden I am getting an email that I am watching forums that I was not watching before yesterday.

I have a question. When I go to a thread that I have already read, it doesn't give me the option to pick up at the first new post that I haven't read. It sends me back to the very first post that was ever written. I have clicked on every option including "go to first unread post", but the first unread post is post number 1.

So they will be here for Christmas or not? It seems kind of silly to have a Christmas coin after the fact.

Received email from Geocoin guy last night that he was holding mine to be shipped with the Christmas coins. He provided an answer within a couple hours.

Coins were paid for on November 4th but no coins yet. When are these supposed to be shipping? The above post said you wanted them completed by December 1st and it is now December 17th.

Can you tell me when these shipped, I paid several weeks ago and haven't received the coins as of Wednesday.

My family members are die hard Steelers fans. I don't hold cointests but thought what the heck. I have a breast cancer angel for the winner of the cointest. The winner has to guess the correct final score of the Steelers/Ravens game and the correct team. Meaning that if the final score is Steelers 50 and Ravens 3, the winner would have a score of 53 and picked the Steelers. You have to guess the correct score and the correct winner. You can only have one cointest entry and it must be different from others. The winner will be the person closest to the score and who has picked the correct winning team. You only have until 8:15 pm Eastern to post your scores and teams as that is the time for the game.

If there had been better communication between the parties I don't think they would be on the forums. If you see the original posts the buyer tried communicating with SoCalGeocoins and they did not respond or there was little response so telling them to handle it privately isn't productive.

If that is the case, post the transaction information so she can see that she has been issued a refund.

I, unfortunately feel sorry for the fact that you cannot get open and honest answers but if you do a search of the history of this company you will see that they have a history of problems. I won't give you advice on how to handle yourself since it appears you are an adult. This company has a history of hiding their heads in the sand and history has shown that contacting all of the legal authorities doesn't get you anywhere. (Really not sure why they are even there). Geocoinguy: are you copying and pasting the paypal transaction or the website transaction? SoCalGeocoins has said that they feel they have made you happy so good luck with trying to get anything further. This should be a warning to everyone, research the companies you are dealing with in the forums before you order from them. See if they have a good track record towards their customers.

You decided to write the names at the same time you posted the pictures Just a kinder, gentler drneal...unless you tic me off . Can someone post another picture of the freezing coin? To me, it looks like a plumber's crack and I have been looking at it for some time trying to figure out another view.
