  4. I don't know if this can be fixed in the setting or that this will keep happening but I really like using track up instead of North up but when I click on a GPS or any place on the map and go to it the GPS changes back to North up and I have to manually go back in and change it to track up. Any ideas?

  10. Moonpup for your issue cut the gpx files from your unit. Past them to your desk top. When that is done, put them back in teh GPX folder on your unit, that should work, that is what Garmin said.

  15. I have currently just been uploading geocaches to my Colorado by pushing the send to GPS button on the Geocaching web site. But this morning a new cache popped up in my are and I tried doing what I had done the night before and they are getting sent to the GPS according to the Garmin communicator but when I try to find them on the Colorado they Are no where to be found. I tried it with some other caches that I know I have loaded onto My Colorado before. I also deleted a GPX file of a cache that was on the Unit, I tried reloading it and it does not appear on the unit, But if I search for it in the GPX file folder it is there. HELP!!!

  18. What are some of the website other than the ones listed that you can get mounts for the Colorado, that actually have them now, or will we have to wait until march 28th to get an auto mount or any other for that fact, wheather it be the Garmin brand or others Please let me know.
  19. So you are able to store The City Navigator onto an SD if you purchase the DVD. That is Awsome, after hearing that I do not know why you would even purchase the SD card. Too Me itsounds like the DVD is the Best and only Option.
  20. I am trying to decide whether or not to purchase the DVD or the SD card card version of City Navigator NT. What are the benefits and disadvantages of either. I have not used city navigator before since my GPS before the Colorado was a Etrex H and I decided for a big upgrade. So if any one has experience with either, which I am sure there are, please let me know what you think.
  21. Can someone please explain or talk about what the filed notes are and how to use them with the Colorado and the Website?
  22. I am having trouble exporting more than one cache at once to the COLORADO or even at all with GSAK, has any one else experainced this. I am be dooing something wrong as I just got my Colorado about 4 hours ago. Help Please.
  23. What sites are the colorado listed at $420 that have it in stock!!
  24. I am about an hour away from leaving my house and heading to REI to purchase a new GPS. I am still torn Between a Colorado 300 and a GPSMAP 60CSx. I think being able to get hands on with both units will be the key to deciding my purchase. But I was wondering do any of you have any last second suggestions or thoughts on which unit would be best for what I want to do, Geocaching, Hiking in the Cascade Mountains of Washington, and also Accuracy is very important, I am doing an Archeology field school this summer and am wanting to use the unit to mark potential sites. Please some input would be nice. Well I haven't left yet so if anyone wants to give me their input I don't think I get to go until tomorrow now I just got called into work.
  25. Ya i am asking if there is an easier way to stay in the current cachebut adjust to new coords?? Currently, you have to press and hold the center button to mark a waypoint, click the Edit button, click the Change Location button, edit to match the coords of the next stage. Back out to the Where To? shortcut (I don't know of a shortcut to get to that screen) and select the newly created waypoint. Are you just asking for an easier way to stay "in" the current cache, but adjust the coords to a new waypoint? That would definitely be nice if you were doing a multi.
