Is there any way, from a pocket query down load, to get a complete log history and not just the last 5. I have been to a few caches and the coordunates were updated in a log and not on the actual site. I have been going paperless and I do not read the logs online. Thanks Nioda

I am finding that some have logs some don't. And other weird stuff...

I just bought the Legend to replace/compliment my 315 and I must say after a few times out I am not impressed. The garmin seems to loose sat. reception alot quicker than the Magellan. The basemap and the Topo that came with it are pretty sweet though. I am thinking of returning it even though it came with everything I needed in one package (accessories that is). Has any one else had the same results? Should I have gone with the GPS60 or the MAP60 for a bit more money and no extra stuff? I was thinking it was how the antenna was set up. Oh the agony.........

If you are wondering about the quality than go to their website to the cartography section and take a test drive on the web. It shows exactly what you would see with the software, just no functionality. My 2 cents... It's not bad but there is alot of detail missing.

I looked at the Etrex Legeng GPS bundle today at Dick's for 199.98 and it comes with everything. But I also have seen the GPSMAP 60 and 60c online for a bit more. I am looking for a maping GPS and am upgrading from a Magellen 315. The Legend comes with Topo software and all the cables... Any suggestions out there?

I am still using my Magellan 315. I've never had a problem. I've tried some newer models and can't see buying a new one untill I have a failure with this one. If it aint broke, I'm not alllowed to buy a replacement... So says the Finance department.

Well mine was, I believe, given to me. I got into ham radio a few years back and was given the call sign N1ODA. I joined a radio club and got a jacket with my first name on it over my call sign. When I met people outside of the radio comunity they thought Nioda was my last name. sk

I export as a .loc file. Import into Excel and strip the header info, and also delete unwanted columns, for convenience. Saving it as a csv file. Then I import them into Streets and Trips. It allows you to import .csv files and specify latitude, longitude and name columns. There may be easier ways but it takes me only a minute to do all this. Have fun… P.S. I also export it to my pda…. I am using the ,run once and delete, selection. It is the same way I ran the others... Nioda

I am actually limiting to 100 and I ran the same query on one day and it worked. It hasn't since.... Nioda

I also have not received PQ's for the last few days. I recently signed up as a premium member just for this function and not it will not work. I have checked my screened mail from my ISP and it is not there...? Nioda
