  1. Can anyone tell me where on the net you can go to punch in street addresses or coords and get a corresponding arial photo of that area??? I used to have a really neat website saved in my favorites list, but my PC crashed uber bad and now all that is gone. I thought I got the link initially from Geocaching.com but now am unable to find any reference to it. Thanks in advance for the help!!!
  2. 10 of them went over to here and had one
  3. OMFG Tap Tap Tap.....hey, cornholios, get a freakin life. I have never in all my glorious years of message board experience from porn to postcards to restoring potato chips ever seen a more whining, hurt feeler, quibbling, quoting, nitpicking, easily offended, self officious, demeaning, ritualistic, holier-than-thou, I hath greater command of the english freakin' language don't you talk to me like that little mister, wanna be bad***, trash talkin no action bunch of pansie geek prep school rejects than I've seen in this place. Even if they ban Geocaching and armed government thugs storm my '74 Gremlin I live in and take my GPS'r I'll still come back to these forums to get my daily dose of rolling on the fawking floor laughing my arse off. I wanna put about 20 of ya in a super size burlap feed sack, shake it up hang it upside down from a tree and randomly poke it with a sharpened #2 pencil just to keep ya going. I'm e-mailing the link to this site to all those Jenny Jones catfight type shows I possibly think of. This would be soooooooooo much better live. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  4. I too have a cheapy 2meg mini pen cam with no display to see how your pic turned out. I just take lotsa pics, why not? Its free. I just don't like carrying our $600 digicam out in the boonies climbing over rocks and crossing streams. I'm constantly suprised at how good a lot of the pics turn out on the cheapo camera actually. I don't see the disposable digital going over very well when you can buy a basic digicam at Wally World for 40 bucks anyway. someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  5. wOOt someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  6. Well, sounds like what we need are special areas set aside for off leash dogs and naked ladies. Hmmm...lets put theses areas side by side. "Honey, I'm taking the dog for a walk" But seriously, anyone doing such a thing to these poor dogs over the actions of their irresponsible owners needs the the same thing as the owners themselves....quick, repeated application of a baseball bat. IMO. someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  7. bump someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  8. Yes, of course a find is always a find, whether letters are remaining or not. I was thinking the log book and the phrase sheet would be one in the same, actually...instead of merely signing the log the log itself becomes something of a game....hmmmm, thanks for the replies, I'm getting to see what I need to clarify of redefine to make this work!!!! someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  9. I think this post should be closed. this is supposed to be a "family oriented" site and something about the subject title on this one conjures up images of a non geocaching nature.... Seriously though, congratulations and happy hunting!! someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  10. Spinal Tap "it's like warm apple pie" someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  11. LOL Cruzin and Seneca!! True, if they called it "Some trees and stuff" nobody would prolly give a rats arse what anyone did with it. But, I agree, this really is not the place for political agendas. It would be swell if this post were closed/moved real quick like. BEFORE everyone gets crazy....... someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  12. I want your opinions on a new cache idea that I'm planning on placing this weekend. Or, if it's not as original as I think it is......Markwell away!!!! This would make an excellent micro I think. The "Say What" cache... An Altoids (or similar) container with a folded sheet of paper as a log book containing any phrase you choose....."Chinese Chickens Fly Upside Down" Finders need to cross out letters of the phrase using letters of their handle...kind of a variation of the old "Hangman" game. A finder with the handle "Moose" would be able to cross out ChinXXX ChickXX Fly UpXidX DXwn...Am I explaining the right way??? Arghh. This is kinda like talking to an answering machine..hehe. The cache owner would need to keep track of and update the page and progress of the phrase completion. When the phrase is completely crossed out, the owner would choose a new phrase and replace the paper and update the page online. You could make the phrase as long or short as you wanted, with easy or more uncommonly used letters= Z, X, numbers...... Whaddaya think? Variations, suggestions, been done already, stoopet idea? someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car. [This message was edited by motoXman on July 18, 2003 at 10:28 AM.]

  14. ROFLMAO I think if my name was Mike Long right about NOW I'd be dying my hair a different color, throwing some clothes in a duffle bag and haulin' a$$ for somewhere like Omaha in an unremarkable tan Chevy economy car that doesn't draw much attention. someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  15. Oh my word, is that you, Bubba???? someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  16. ^^^^^^ ROFLMAO TMAN264 ^^^^^^^^^ someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  17. Bah, the best we can possibly hope for each time geocaching gets some media attention is that it's not like whenever there is a tornado or a flood somewhere. It seems they always interview the guy with the 4 days worth of scraggly facial hair & wearing a dirty "wife beater" T-shirt, holding a can of beer while hitchin' his pants up over his butt crack. "I seed it a'cummin' an ah yelled et mah wyfe, git da kids an da dogs and ats when da roof blowed plum off'n tha trayler" LOL... I mean, the media seems to seek these people out, you know? someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  18. I belive Snoogans was originally referring to a line from "The Outlaw Josey Wales" one of the all time great spaghetti westerns, falls right under "High Plains Drifter" "somebody left the door open and the wrong dogs came home"
  19. eeewwwwww.....I hope you had gloves on when you picked up that Super Tight Underwear Beaver Squeezer someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  20. Funny timing on this post, just yesterday I accidently stumbled upon an "adult oriented" geocache site in a search for "geocache". Don't worry, I'm not gonna post a link, I'm sure that would start some kind of war here. (and the site is pretty lame anyway) It seems they feel they have gotten around the issue of minors getting the coords off the net by making puzzles out of the caches...you have to fill in the blanks of the coords by getting the numbers from inside various bars/clubs/over 21 establishments and the caches must be in "remote" areas (not in parks etc..) Brings to mind another post..."what will geocaching be like in the future" hmmmmmmmm...... someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  21. Yes, but I'm a loud, obnoxuious, agressive rage filled driver to compensate for it. the person below me is a general twit, in a sort of amusing, laid back try not to laugh until he leaves the room sorta way. someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
  22. Gawd, what next, Barry Manilo's coordinates?? Wayne Newton?? eewwwww........ The future of geocaching has just taken a stomach rolling turn...... someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car.
