  1. That must be the solution. I made the Wherigo's with a 32bit Windows PC. And now I have a 64bit PC...
  2. [Oeps! I placed this topic on the wrong place. Can the modorator move it in 'Building Wherigo Cartridges' please?] This is my situation: I build the following Wherigo-caches: http://coord.info/GC19TA6 http://coord.info/GC21V68 For both I used the official Wherigo builder. The gwz-files I downloaded this week from Wherigo.com contains .lua-files. I can't open those in the official Wherigo builder anymore. I get this error: Error Reading cartridge. System.BadImageException: poging om een programma te laden met onjuiste indeling. (Uitzondering van HRESULT: 0x8007000B) bij Groundspaek.Wherigo.ZonesEngine.ZonesEngineDll.InitializeEngine... (BTW: this is not the whole text. I made a screenshot of it. When needed: I can mail the image.) I also tried tot import the .lua in Urwigo: It works good whit GC19TA6. But it gives this error with GC21V68: Error during cartridge import. line 2207, character 66: object 'zitemGunpowder' was not found.
  3. Several years ago I build 2 Wherigo-geocaches. I had to change something in those caches. So I downloaded the gwz-files from Wherigo.com. I changed .gwz into .zip and unziped the files. Unfortunately I can't open de lua files anymore in the Wherigo builder. Only one of the two lua-files I can open in Urwigo. Can someone help me to fix the files so I can use them in the Wherigo-builder and in Urwigo. If someone wants to help me I can mail the gwz-files.
  4. I solved the problem I first deinstalled Urwigo and after that I installed it again. Now it works fine!
  5. Is there a problem with the link to Google Maps in Urwigo? I don't get the map anymore with the 'Edit in map'-function . I only get the zones and I can edit them, but without a map: see screendump. Yesterday and Sunday it worked fine. Anybody the same problem? Or does someone know how to fix this. I just installed Urwigo again, but that didn't solve the problem...
  6. But, if you loaded a cartridge in PiGo 2.1 it player better in this new version?
  7. I discovered the update earlier this week but I couldn't install it. You need to upgrade the OS first to 4.2. But I wait for a good JB first . I am very interested in more reviews of PiGo 1.2...
  8. New version is out. Now it is possible to get a map. It's great! Does anyone know of the problem with the multiple coice questions is solved now?
  9. So it isn't yet possible to play cartridges with multiple choice questions? What is going wrong?
  10. Yes that would be very nice!
  11. Thanks! So if you download the source file of a (with Urwigo build) cartridge from www.Wherigo.com you have to be a lua-programmer to do something with it. Because you can't open the cartridge in de Urwigo builder (?)
  12. I made a simple Wherigo with Urwigo. If I generate a gwz-file with Urwigo I get a lua-file with the name '_cartridge.lua' in the zipped map. Unfortunately I can't open this file in de official Groundspeak Wherigo builder. Even as I change the extension in .urwigo > I can't open it in the Urwigo builder. Is there a way to generate an gwz-file with a good working .lua-file?
  13. screens.zip See the attachements for the results of two different images on a Oregon 450. One image is 230 pixels width and 310 pixels high. The other has the same width and is 460 pixels high. As you can see if I use both images in a dialog screen: they haven't the same width. Using the images as an Inventory item: the first image is a little wider. The larger image is a lot smaller. It fits in the screen and you can't scroll it anymore!
  14. If I use a large image (230x460 pix) Urwigo automaticly fits the image in the screen. I don't want that. I want to see the immage in full width and scroll it down to see it all. Is this possible in Urwigo? In de official builder of Groundspeak it was possible to choose for it: automaticly fit or not > 'no risize'.
  15. Last week Bryan Roth from Groundspeak had a chat-session with Dutch-geocachers. Bryan wrote something about an upload earlier this week of a 'Wherigo'-test-application for iPhones in the App Store. Today I saw this new application from Groundspeak in de App Store: The Mighty Egg Hunt.
  16. Can someone explain this? Is this the reason of my problem (see here) in one of my cartridges? Now I understand it is a limit of letters and spaces etc. Can someone tell me what is the maximum: How many character can I use in a question? Ans how many in a answer-button (mutiple choice)?
  17. To check the lay-out of a cartridge on my Oregon 300 I used sometimes the Demo Mode: if you 'click' on the red arrow in the location screen it is possible to simulate a walk to the next zone. Now I have a Oregon 450. With this device the Demo Mode seems not to work with me: I can't start the simulation by a click on the red arrow. Is there an other way on the 450? Or is a simulation not possible on this device?
  18. May be this is the problem?: character limit in the input or action question but... I don't understand it. Just before the crash I have five characters in my invetory. Is this too mutch? In the second adventurezone I have only four characters left. I don't get any probelms then.
  19. Can someone explain this? Is this the reason of my problem (see here) in one of my cartridges?
  20. Yes I used the action 'Show detail screen'. But I don't bellief that's the problem. Because I used that action in the whole cartridge: also in zones before the problem appaers.
  21. (at first: sorry for my bad English!) In 2008/2009 I build a Wherigo for schoolchildren (11/12 years old). Here a summary of this cartridge: - at first: the children vitits 5 zones - in every zone they meet a character: 5 trees. - every tree has different properties - the children has to collect all the trees in the inventory - after collecting all trees the first adventurezone becomes active and visible - the children has to 'insert' one of the trees to solve the problem (drynes) in this zone - only one tree is the right one! - if they choose the right tree the following adventurezone with a new problem (forest-fire) becomes active and visible. - so the children has to complete 5 adventurezones with the collected trees. (- There are maximum 3 zones active at the same time.) (- I build in several autosafepoints at strategic moments.) The cartridge works very well on Garmin Colorado's en PPC-devices. It is a great success so other school are interested in this Wherigo as well... so far so good! For a new school I could't buy Colorado's anymore so I bought 10 Oregons 450 for them. Unfortunately the cartridge does not works well on these divices: If I want to insert the first tree in the first adventurezone the Oregon shuts down. After restarting the Oregon I choose loading saved game. Because of the several autosafepoints I build in, the cartridge starts in the first adventurezones. But I still have to insert the right tree. If I try: the Oregon shuts down again. So I can not complete the cartridge. [bTW: on my own Oregon 300 the device doesn't shuts down, but gets 'strange' characters on the buttons of the trees (strange numbers and letters: but not the names of the trees anymore!) in the inventory-menu and the device freezes.] The most strange thing is that the problem doen't appears if I saved the cartridge manually anywhere before I visit the first adventurezone!!! I hope someone knows what is the problem in this cartridge and how to solve it. If someone seriously wants to look at it I can sent the lua-file by e-mail.
  22. Thanks Yourself for sending me my latest cartridge back. With the changes your made, I can import it without any problems. It works also great in the emulator. Is this the same emulator as used in the official builder from Groundspeak? I ask this because it never crashed with my cartidge . That's the first time: in the 'official' emulator it crashed many times . Unfortunately the sounds stops halfway playing the cartridge in de emulator. But this also happens in the 'official' emulator. Maybe it has something to do with my computer (Dell laptop with Vista Home premium). For now I have last questions about the 'error list' in Urwigo. See attatchment 'error_list1': I don't get this errors. I never had a problem with this cartridge. See attatchment 'error_list2' (It's from an other cartridge): I don't get the error 'Showing this screen causes problems on Garmin devices'. I never had problems with Colorado's and Oregons with this cartridge. Maybe the problems only appears with older firmware versions? Or with the Nuvi 550?
