  1. Team Hebi picked up our 4th Mr.Jiffys Summer Meltdown Coin (# 20) from GCKOBM (Riley's Travel Bug Treehouse of August 23rd. We needed to do this quickly as the "Summer" power of the previous coins was waning quickly as you can see by this "freak" snowfall that somewhere near Toronto, Canada experienced. At first the power of the coin did nothing but then we remembered the fable of Frosty The Snowman and placed the coin in the position of power: This seemed to work as the record snowfall quickly diminished: The Coin has now been placed in GC1FM96 (Elliott Woods) on August 30th. Hopefully summer will remain for at least another month
  2. Team Hebi's Third Mr. Jiffy's Summer Meltdown Geocoin Find, # 17, in Cache Midhurst Views (GCGCG7) on August 10th. On the way in you got to experience this great river view: We placed it in Cache "Resistor is Futile"(GC15B5P) on August 17th. Travelling to this cache we enjoyed this scenic view. Here is a photo of the coin just before replacing in new cache.
  3. Team Hebi continued their adventures with the Mr. Jiffy's Summer Meltdown Geocoin. After discovering # 47 and releasing its summer meltdown power and restoring summer to the Great Canadian Northland, we quickly learned its "Power of Summer" diminishes after releasing the coin back to the Wilds. We realized another Mr. Jiffy's Geocoin had to be found immediately to continue this great summer season. As our video equipment succumbed to the Canadian freezing winter conditions and wouldn't function, we have only our memory and this original Team Hebi graphic (all rights reserved) of our adventures to secure another Coin. Number 48 was in strking distance. Finding another Geocoin (Number 48) allowed us to continue our summer adventures, which we have now set free in the "Great Canadian Goecache" (GC 1E261). We will be keeping our eyes "peeled" for more Geocoins incase their "Power of Summer" is still needed!
  4. We found the MrJiffy's Summer Meltdown 2008 Geocoin (#47) in Mosquito Haven (GC1BYGV) in Tiffins Center, Ontario, Canada. And for Team Hebi, just in the "Nick of Time". Here is a picture of the Team members' standard Geocaching attire: After finding the Summer Meltdown Coin, we were able to discover what Summer 2008 is about, and out of the blue, our standard attire melted to these summer duds. Here's our coin which should be visiting somewhere in the Orillia, Ontario vicinity this weekend (July 5/6, 2008) Coin # 47 placed in Last Vestige GC1DQ57 on Saturday, July 5th, 2008
