  1. As an owner of a dozen caches in greater London, the number of logs I have recieved has dropped off considerably in the last few weeks. I am sure it's just a blip, but wondered if any other cache owners had noticed it, and if it's to do with the launch of Pokemon Go.
  2. Tried moving this hide before, but I am not allowed to place it on the west side due to proximity to GC240NQ.
  3. Hey, they may have not found the Cache container itself, But they got close enough to find it's ransom note!! I will let the so called "fake" found it log stand, for the above reason and also because I have already emailed the finder to let him know I would accept it.
  4. Are you going to allow the fake "found it" log to stand? http://coord.info/GC38EQ3 Kind of surprised to see that the cache hasn't been temporarily disabled yet. B.
  5. My central London cache 'Underground' GC38EQ3 has been one of my most sucessful in terms of finds, and although the container goes missing about once every 6 months thats part of the deal. However the online log posted today from an innocent cacher contains an image of what he found at the GZ that can only suggest extortion. I am going to text the master criminal now to find out where we stand. Anyone have negotioating skills? Matthew-h
  6. I loved this series, and it was one of the few I got to the end of! I even have the 'prize' coin that was available in the final. No apology needed for letting this go FL, the fact it existed at all was amazing. Matthew-h
  7. I realise this tag it is very useful to those who collect trackables and want to have them logged as discovered at events. However maybe some (possibly new) cachers may assume that they can 'collect' and keep a trackable they find when the first thing they read in the description that the owner has not expressed a preference as to whether it is collectable or not. 8. I also have had a lot of fun scanning and geo-locating paper maps with MM, and then copying the result to my 'Road Angel' gps unit which runs a scaled down version of memory-map. The 9inch to the mile 1888 map of london makes finding caches much more challenging! Matthew-h
