  1. It's a bummer they trashed the whole thing. Would of been nice if they could of kept what we found. Guess it just wasn't logistically possible.
  2. SS, Did you mean days in a row? Because 800 finds in a day is an awful lot...unless you do a power trail of course. Also, seriously you have found a cache every single day for over 3 years? Dude, that's crazy . Looks like you are having a good time. Cheers
  3. Saw a herd of elk on the way to a cache...or is it BIGFOOT? Ringneck Snake, Diadophis punctatus Official Mountain Guide on the flanks of Mount St. Helens Cheers
  4. Lots of moaning going on... My 5 year old son like to trade toys. Well, he trades a toy and gets back in the car. I begin to hear some moaning sounds coming from the back seat. My son says, "why does this sound like a baby crying?" I look at my wife and say, "Are you hearing what I'm hearing?" She burst out laughing. She gets the toy from my son and reads the description. It happens to be an ADULT TOY! Yes, you press a button and you hear a woman panting and moaning...Yikes! Luckily, my son had no idea what it was. That is the strangest thing we have found in a cache.
  5. I scored a $1.00 yesterday for a FTF. But seeing a gazzillion frogs jumping all over the place was the real kicker!
  6. 'Tis exactly what I did with the one who logged a DNF. See the post above this one for the hint. I was one of the DNF's and it all worked fine for me. Now, I just got to get back across the river and make the find.
  7. I have kind of an off topic question. I just bought a Garmin vehicle power adapter and when I plug it in all I get is the screen shot of the power adapter and computer. How do I get it to show the map screen?
  8. I think the "deleted log" is now a mute point. It was a great topic with answers given. I Initally understood what SS was saying and agreed, until the name calling and number comparing started. :yikes:A new forum titled "I'm better than you, because I have more everything than you" needs to be started. Sad to say, "I've seen this before." I think SS is gaining a reputation.
  9. ___________________________________________________________ Right... I have an idea, how about this when the new cache is published whoever gets there 1st claims the FTF, end of story. Hey glad to see you here Geojerry Shhh I won't tell anyone that you are one of the biggest FTF hounds out there. Your secret is safe with me. Scubasonic
  10. Wasn't that the one where you threw my flashlight off the bridge and then pushed me down the embankment?
  11. #1 - All FTFs are to be compiled into a database and all existing FTF references in current post are to be deleted. #2 - FTFs will be given a new designation with a special smiley for the post. #3 - All FTFs are to be evenly distributed throughout the geocaching society, as new cachers come in it is the responsibility of the seasoned cachers to gather up FTFs to be given to the new cachers. #4 - After all cachers have a FTF smiley, you may submit a request for additional FTFs which will be given after review by a special commitee if you are found worthy. Multiple request could result in a special investigation with the possibility of restrictions placed on the individual cacher and known associates. #5 - Anyone not adhearing to the new policies will have their username locked, their GPS removed and all owned travel bugs or coins taken from them and distributed among the less fortunate cachers who choose to do other things with their time. Thank you for your time and cooperation! ___________________________________________________________ Right...
  12. In Clark County (Vancouver, Battleground, Camas) area there are a lot of great spots. Battle Ground lake, Lacamas Lake, Salmon Creek, and Whipple Creek are just a few areas that have nice hiking areas. Here are just a few idea...gets to to the area at least. 13. In regards to incomplete printing of the page...You need to check the print preview and adjust the print to fit. Sometimes it is not set right and will not print the top part of the information. You may have to adjust print to fit to 90%, 80% or something like that...You just need to play with it a little. cheers
  14. You shall owe the IRS $157.77 Good news means you got more $$ in your pocket during the year and less in the pocket of the irs Cheers, geojerry7
  15. Largest was a 5-gallon bucket: full of tb's and coins. Largest TB in bucket was a bowling pin. (Didn't last long) Smallest was a silver capsule (about 4cm long and about 2cm wide). Very small and hard to find. I actually found 3 of them in one day. Once I found the first the rest were a piece of cake, becasue I knew what I was looking for. Cheers
