  1. It may be a very old topic, but I still have this problem. Has it ever been solved?
  2. Yep, same problem here for the last few months. Firefox on Linux, though. And the only smart idea that I found is to not use the scroll bar to go down, but simply tab tab tab to go to the next field (name) in the same browser area. Why isn't the quite visible scroll bar working?
  3. Hi, Hans, That is exactly the right thing. A Big Thanks. Apparently you CAN do better selection that the form suggests. Is there a list of the hidden options or better-said the URL-based options of the query form submission? Regards, Wim
  4. Thanks, GeoTrekker, that is indeed very helpful: exactly the info I was looking for. And it seems to be maintained by Groundspeak, so probably is complete!
  5. For long time planning, I'd like to know which mega and giga events are coming up in the (wider) area. I was thinking to do that with a large-range (500 miles) pocket query, and then select cache-type = mega-event or cache-type = giga-event. However, you can only select 'all event type caches'. And with so many (also interesting but not now) smaller events, I easily get cluttered by them. How to just select mega-events or giga-events? Regards, Wim van Dorst (Clifton)
  6. Best announcement ever!!! So pleased to see my statistics in the right order again. This was driving me nuts.
  7. I've seen this myself, and weirdly, it doesn't actually reject anything. I can click on the link, and follow it straight to the cache page. The links indeed work normally, but instead of a nice cache icon indicing the cache type and a normally readable name, it shows the unpleasant error message. But apparently no solution yet. Regards, Wim (Clifton)
  8. I have exactly the same problem, so posted in the appropriate forum: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=319661 Regards, Wim
  9. When I press on "Share this log" on geocaching.com, then normally Facebook copies the log text and adds a nice link to the geocache text. Since a week or so, the texts are copied, but the links is an error message stating "403.6 Forbidden: IP address of the client has been rejected". Who rejects this (FB.com? GC.com? something else?), and for which device is the IP address: my own laptop? GC.com? FB.com? Or perhaps a better question: who is to solve this? Regards, Wim van Dorst (Clifton)
  10. Today I attended the Oostelijk Flevoland Zeebodem Event (OFZE) 2009, organized in Dronten, the Netherlands. It was great!!! Thanks to the organizers, and a strong recommendation to fellow geocachers to attend a nearby event if you got the change. Even if it is half as good as the OFZE2009, it is still well worth it.
