I just purchased the Vista HCx and a 1GB MicroSD card for it! The card was $12.00US including shipping off ebay! With that memory I will be able to get most or all of the country on it!!! The Vista HCx is worth the extra couple of bucks! island_hunter.

I just purchased the Vista HCx because of the High-sensitivity receiver and the expandable memory. Last night on ebay, I picked up a 1 GB MicroSD card for $12.00 US including shipping! With this card I can put most or all of the country on it in one shot. With smaller memories you have to delete and add new maps everytime you are going somewhere new. Hope this helps. island_hunter

Well I bought one!! Ended up going with the Vista HCx brand new off of ebay for $260 CAN after shipping! Not a bad deal...way better than in any of the shops here in town! Thanks again for the help. island_hunter Let the games begin!!

I think I have figured it out!! The models that have "H" in them, ex. HCx, have the High-sensitivity receiver!! Now I have narrowed my search down to the Legend HCx or the Vista HCx. Thank you all for helping me choose the GPS that I will be the happiest with! Happy Hunting!! island_hunter.

I've been to 8 stores trying to find the Legend HCx, but can only find the Legend Cx or the Vista HCx. Are these comparable to the Legend HCX? Thanks Again. island_hunter.

Hey all! I'm super excited to become the newest Geocacher! I've been shopping for a GPS and have found a Garmin Venture Cx for $199.00 CAN. This unit looks great with color screen, WAAS, BlueChart, mapping....etc. Is this unit any good?? Thanks All! island_hunter.
