  1. I am in the UK and received mine on Tuesday of this week from Go Outdoors, complete with 1:50k OS maps. It arrived just in time for 2 weeks of hiking and sea kayaking in Scotland :-) Wow great news!! GoOutdoors need to update their website to show the 600 is available then and not still on pre-order! (I'm still waiting for a 650 though, and will be buying from Cotswold Outdoors as their prices are better with the GAGB discount) Chris I'm also intending to wait for the 650. I'm not currently a member of GAGB, will I still make a saving with joining and going to Cotswold Outdoors compared to GoOutDoors? Keith
  2. Posed the same question to Garmin UK via their Facebook page and they said "Unfortunately at this time we do not have a date on when this will be launched but hope to have them released in early may."
  3. so what is it ? distribution issues ? firmware issues ? manufacturing issues ? waiting on Monterra ?
  4. I contacted Customer Services at Go Outdoors in the UK to find out when they expected the 600 series to be available and they responded with. 'We are expecting the Garmin Oregon GPS systems to be delivered to customers approx mid April going on towards the end of April. They have been delayed due to an unexpected problem with Garmins shipping and distribution.'

    Nano caches

Four of the recent caches I have found have been nano sized. Whilst these are easy to attach to anything metallic it can be a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack when it is hidden in the countryside. Does anyone agree that Groundspeak should consider adding a new size category to give us credit for finding these as they are so much smaller than most micro caches.
