1. I have a few puzzles that require the actual original image to be available to the use, not the post-processed image that you can upload to GC.com (in reference to the CO "not bothering to do it right"). I have them embedded in my cache page and since March 15, the links did not work. Today I managed to find the solution which is what I think the original questioner was asking. The new Dropbox Links are in the format: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b75b...fvd1/Loon1b.bmp?dl=0'>https://www.dropbox.com/s/b75b...fvd1/Loon1b.bmp?dl=0 Simply change it to: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b75b...fvd1/Loon1b.bmp?raw=1 ...and the image can be embedded the old fashioned way on the cache page. The viewer can then save the image to their computer and do whatever they need to to solve the puzzle.
2. This is just terrible UI design! There is no new information in the log and, in fact, the "Log:" label used to be a hyperlink to the actual log and no longer is. I don't know who thought this was a good idea, but they are dead wrong. Please change it back! CORRECTION: It was Outlook misbehaving. The "Log:" link still works. I do stand behind the fact that the e-mail is much bigger and no more useful.
3. Well, the maps were not a big deal to me as I had a workaround in both my chosen browsers, but the one thing that seems to have broken is that I have to log back in all the time, despite telling GC that I want to stay logged in. I'll blame Facebook. They seem a popular target these days... Before you ask, I did clear my cookies and still have the problem.

I started second guessing myself after I posted this, so went in and cleared all my Firefox cookies. I still need to log in after I have closed my browser and re-opened a few minutes later. I have not tested how long the delay needs to be. I suspect is has something to do with the new "Facebook" login.

This is happening to me now every time I go to the site. Others in my area are experiencing the same thing. It is NOT a browser issue. This was working fine until the last update.
6. Same problem here near Ottawa. Always seems to happen when I'm trying to prepare for a road trip...
7. I, too, was upset about the friends find counts being removed, but I have serious doubts that we are being listened to, so I took my own approach to fixing it, which I'll share here. This may not be practical if you've got tons of friends but if you want to quickly watch 10 cachers or so, it works fine. First, go to your current friends, and make a list of their GUID's which are numbers found on the cacher name link on the friends page. They look like this "http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=cff16fe6-db1a-40b4-bee9-e3205b3151ac".'>http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=cff16fe6-db1a-40b4-bee9-e3205b3151ac". The number you want is to the right of the "=" sign. If you want to see their avatar picture, copy that link address of their picture, and make note of the JPG name after the word "avatar". On your personal profile page, you can place the following HTML, and then you will see the avatar of your friend, and their status box with both their find AND correct number of hides! All you need to do is replace the JPG name with the avatar picture name, and change the two copies of the GUID found in this text with the ones of your friends. This will make the stats bar linkable, so you can go and see exactly what they found.. The text that needs to be customized is in bold above. I hope that this is helpful. If you want to see how it looks, feel free to visit my profile page. I'm PORTERA. Enjoy!
8. Please stop removing features!!! There was nothing wrong with the find count, only the hide count. The hide count should have been fixed, or just the hide count removed. Now I can't easily see if any of my friends were caching recently. I agree completely! Removing a functional feature to fix a non-functional one makes as much sense as removing the rest of my tires if one goes flat.
9. Every time I upload field notes from my Colorado, it is from the same location. Recently, GC let me set what type of GPS hardware I have, why not let me set the drive or the drive and path of my GEOCACHE_VISITS.TXT file, so I don't have to browse to the file every time. Then I just click the upload button, and my field notes get uploaded? That would be Great!
