  1. You must be reading some other thread. Please take your own advice.
  2. Okay, here is what I think: (Emphasis mine) I read this to mean: Some of the other posters are slamming Criminal for his stand on legit smileys(finds). These posters have been nasty to him just for taking a stand. I could be wrong... (smileys as per request)
  3. But given some of the above posts it's wrong to have that kind of opinion, make it known, and stand by it. Huh? It's wrong to have an opinion? It's wrong for that opinion to be 'find a cache, sign the log book, get a smiley'? It's wrong to stand by your position? When did this happen? I said "Huh?" too, then I figured it was tounge-in-cheek or sarcasm or something.
  4. If you unit is bad then just return it. It is a great GPSr when it is running correctly. I assume you have downloaded the latest software? If you haven't give that a try. FWIW, you can also zoom in on the map screen to lead you to the cache.
  5. The real issue here is information about archived caches. From what I understand Groundspeak is very wary about giving out information on archived caches because: 1) They are archived for a reason 2) Land owners/managers (in some cases) have asked for archived caches to be completely removed from the web site so that nobody goes there again. 3) TPTB wants you to come back to the website to get fresh information each time you go caching. (As opposed to maintaining an off-line database). This insures you don't go hungting archived/inactive caches. Again, this is my understanding of the situation and I may be a little off.
  6. I take TB's and coins and move them pretty much randomly. The one time I *tried* very hard to move a TB along the next person who got the TB just kept it and quit caching. My coins and TBs pretty much don't have missions. I just hope they don't disappear.
  7. Try another program like CacheStats on you finds PQ. If that works then maybe there is just something in one of the logs that FindStats is having trouble parsing.
  8. My 60CSx stopped working (power button) after about a week. I called Amazon and they shipped a replacement out immediately. I had one month to return the old one before they would have charged my CC. That was sweet because the replacement arrived before my vacation. I will continue to buy from them.
  9. Mine is now 32 caches in a day with no DNF's in Concord NH. Before that it was 19 and before that it was 13. My 32-cache day was alone.
  10. Any news on NH? I would love to do this one when it comes up.
  11. Well if you ever come to Vermont I have made all my puzzle caches stupid-accessible.
  12. The VT cache is correctly located on the Frappr map. As far as I can tell by eyeballing it.
  13. From my previous post, right before yours: See, this is what I like about the forums, ya learn stuff all the time. I never tried GSAK to print, this is cool, thanks!
  14. There is a cache here: N 44° 00.000 W 072° 00.000
  15. Since it is much harder to sell 1,000 coins then it used to be I am very glad for the changes. Hopefully now we can see coins coming out for NH and other groups.
  16. The Vermont Cache has been approved and found already.

  18. So the map on this page accurately shows your home and surrounding neighborhood? Well that's the problem, he put in my home coordinates not his.
  19. The Vermont cache has been submitted for approval. GCXJHP
  20. Vermont is nearly ready. I have to go back and put the number in the cache (D'oh!). I will be releasing it to the reviewer today. I made it a small hike in a park in the capital, Montpelier. [Edit: typos]
  21. What long weekend? Are you giving me Monday off? I didn't get the memo.
