Looking back at our correspondence for this trade, I realize that it was never mentioned one way or the other. I guess it's my fault for assuming that it was unactivated. No, I mean the ID number that was assigned to it when it was activated. Should start with a TB and be 6 alphanumeric digits log. Look on the coin's page and you'll see something like this: Owner: Xxxx Xxx Released: Saturday, December 10, 2004 Origin: Somewhere, United States Use TBxxxx to reference this travel bug. Ahh, I got it. Thanks a million!

You mean the activation code not the tracking number right?

I made a trade for a coin and the owner said that it was not activate. Well when I got it and tried to activate it I found out it already was activated. Anyone know if it's possible to transfer ownership of coins?

I will also be getting some GCC December coins soon and I am looking to trade one for an GCC Ammo Can too.

Just logged number 15 and now I gotta wait 5 more days to log my last and final requirement, the event cache. The way I figure, I should still get a coin, I'm currently number 60 on the leader board. Number 162 is the first to only have 10 of the requirments logged which means that they need at least 6 more days to log all requirments.

Hope they got the spelling correct on the coin!

I've started doing this too. I was thinking, what if I don't trade the coin for 6 months or a year and the site is no longer active by then? Windrose Yea, that was one of my concerns also. I was also concerned that by getting the activation code that somehow I'd be recognized as the "original" owner of the coin (being that they usually ask for an email), which may be detrimental to a potential trade.

Anyone have any opinions on this? When I buy extra coins for trade should I get the activation code once I receive the coins or should I just tell the person I'm trading with what site to retrieve the activation code from?
