  1. Sorry I've not replied sooner, been away up Snowdon again! Family outing this time, no caching! I've honed the timeline/co-ords for the Pyg Track up 3 hours/Miners Track down 3.5 hours route. My little shrimp of a 9 year old daughter kept pace going up! If anyone would like a copy of the route plan in MS Excel please drop me a mail. There's three caches enroute plus two trigs, albeit a small excursion off the plan for Garnedd Ugain! Many thanks for all the congrats. Getting my caching momentum going again rediscovering the Southampton area!
  2. dadgum, got me sussed! Yes Pyoung1s is correct! A rare Geocaching outing on TB P100 GPS!
  3. I'm working away from home at the moment, not that I can clearly determine currently where home is! Both myself and my good friend Prince of Darkness appear to be rather active in the Ipswich area at the moment! When the fog of war lifts we should be settled in the Waterside area of Southampton Water (the posh side!). As of last night all of my active Manchester caches have now been adopted. Many thanks to everyone for keeping these top class caches running! I wish those who have yet to brave the alligators many hours of frustration around Lymm Dam! If anyone wishes to sort and reactivate GCG92F Waterpark walkabout that's still available. If anyone is aware of a newbie who would like to adopt the name Kingfisher I will gladly offer it up. Now that the cache adoption is complete I'll leave this topic open so you can tell me how much you'll miss my presence in the Manchester area. I'll be back shortly to log all my old caches!
  4. GCHNN6 Around about a subway has now been passed over. Any takers for: GCJQ6Q MIATBX Final Approach GCHH2C Lock Up Your Daughters
  5. GCKRNP Almost Boiling Point GCKP2Y Lymm Dam(n) Frustration! have both been claimed! Any takers for the others?
  6. I'm on the move! Abandoning Manchester and heading back to Southampton! As a result the following active caches are offered up for adoption: GCKRNP Almost Boiling Point GCJQ6Q MIATBX Final Approach GCHH2C Lock Up Your Daughters GCHNN6 Around about a subway GCKP2Y Lymm Dam(n) Frustration! The following cache is currently disabled but is offered for adoption should anyone wish to sort and activate it: GCG92F Waterpark walkabout Additionally I have currently the account name Kingfisher both in Geocaching and Trigpointing. I can pass this over to anyone who would like to make use of the name. Once posted I'm going to lock out this topic for you to contact me direct at: Pyoung1s@aol.com
  7. Where have you been hiding ? And well done John 1000 is quite a feat and quite wearing on the feet as well At 967 I'm casually picking them off! Should make it to the big M soon! Been looking after Prince of Darkness as my adopted newby!
  8. Check out TB "P99 GPS" and while we're on the subject don't forget motorcycles can also be a TB "P100 GPS"!
  9. What a great reason for an event cache and a five star rating terrain! Well done Chadwick Chasers for volunteering to organise. Put my name on the attendance list please!
  10. You've been IM'ing SP as well. You two-timing rat!
  11. Only if you're male and not caching as a team/paring! Oops did I read that as found? All the same!!
  12. Only if you're male and not caching as a team/paring!
  13. With comments like this kewfriend shouldn't you now drop the barely and upgrade yourself to "competent"!
  14. I think it's a question of personal choice Sally. As a joint organiser I believe both you and Dave can log as "placed". Brian's left the door open for the COTM scoring issue either way. If it's any help I was listed as a joint organiser for the NW meet in Lymm last year but choose to log it as another event cache attended rather than as one "placed". Tony, (Mongoose39uk) deserved the credit for co-ordinating the event anyway. If the same were to happen this year I would probably do likewise foregoing the extra COTM points! In the words of a well known beachbum "I'm not a numbers man!"?! Many thanks to both yourself and Dave for another enjoyable SGDO!
  15. Maybe Alex like myself didn't pick up on the fact that when you implied that you didn't mind anyone grabbing your TB's ... he didn't realise you meant 'Tender Bits' !! You're quite welcome anyday Angela! Oh, is that you Bill? Well, you can keep your hands to yourself thank you!
  16. Well put Bill, agree with what you say! I don't totaly disagree with waiting a short time (and have done occassionally in the past when it's been convenient) but I do debate the issue as not being a hard and fast rule. I believe a bit of tolerance whichever way it's played within the guidelines should be given!
