  1. I notice you have gsak stats in your profile. Do you use the GenUploadStats macro to do this? If so, then I recon that is your problem, as I have exactly the same issue, which started when I started to use that macro. Fixed it The gsak forum thread for the macro (here) gives a link to another with details on how to upload your stats manually. At the bottom of this thread (linky) someone has modified the original macro so it no longer wipes some of your profile settings when used. Dowload the file from the second thread and open it with GSAK. Follow the prompts to install it, overwriting the previous version. I did have to make one modification to get it to run on my system. That was to modify a file name from "FindStatGen34Beta.gsk" to "FindStatGen3.gsk" within the macro. If the macro falls over when you run it, edit the macro (there's a button to do that when it dies) and change the above name, save it and try again.

  3. Looks like the underlying map is an OS one for the 1:25k and 1:50k scales, just they've not got the highlighting quite right for some reason ... either that or the OS shows far more RoW than actually exist
  4. Shame they don't all appear to be highlighted correctly - stick 'Burstow' in to getamap and compare to the other map (NE of Crawley, SE of Horley) - there are a number of footpaths and bridleways not coloured.
  5. I don't think it's been mentioned on here yet Just downloaded my latest My Finds and noticed that the 'states/provinces' for the UK have been updated to tidy them up and remove the naming inconsistencies Nice one Groundspeak So perhaps a good time to encourage a few more people to set the State/Province on their listings - only takes a few seconds and even if it won't be of use to you it may be of use to others. Sits back to await abuse for suggesting people tidy up their listings
  6. Not forgetting the Red Phone Box series and of course the Church Micro series.
  7. I have POIs for all types of cache on my TomTom. As already stated, you need to get a Premium membership so you can run Pocket Queries - a kind of 'database dump' from GC.com. Then import this is to GSAK (Google it), install one of the extra macros to GSAK and job done! A lot less work than creating the ov2 by hand , plus it can be regenerated at will so can be up to date.
  8. But still not in the 'My Finds' PQ Snap I have posted a note on the website forum. It seems to be OK now in the My Finds PQ I downloaded yesterday
  9. As my query has been answered (thanks everyone ) perhaps a passing mod may wish to now close the thread.
  10. Superb, thanks. I was looking at that function earlier when I updated my version of GSAK, but didn't have time to try it out.
  11. Thanks everyone I think that has answered that one - it can't be done - I'll consider putting out a new cache (using the old container & log, as I'm pretty sure they are still in place). We have a hotline, yes. Those marketing people think of everything
  12. I've not trawled back through this entire thread, but I have an unactivated Clifton Suspension Bridge coin on my desk which I'd be happy to swap for a London Eye coin ... just contact me via my GC profile.
  13. Yep, or someone noticed this thread, and did a fix...... Still not working perfectly - usually mine come through within minutes, but not today
  14. Personally, if you've made the effort to go and get the coin then it's up to you what you do with it. But others would disagree If you want to enter the competition you need to release it (IIRC).
  15. A cache I really liked has recently been archived as the owner cannot perform maintenance anymore. Is it possible for the owner to allow me to adopt it, even though it is archived? Assuming the cache still meets the guidelines it could then be unarchived. I know an alternative would be to take out a new listing, but if possible I'd rather keep the history which comes with all the old logs. Thanks for any replies.
  16. Maybe the post hasn't yet been? Seemed like the first thing they knew about the last lot was when an envelope arrived with the coins in.
  17. ... or ask a friendly reviewer if the co-ords you are looking to use are acceptable?
  18. Does anyone know if GS are aware of this - has it been posted on the website forum? Map looks good though, but each time I import the My Finds PQ it overwrites any state information I've added myself. Also noted that caches for which the owner has set a state, 'None' is imported instead of 'Nil'. Oddly, I have a PQ set up which provides me with details of the finders of my own caches, and for these the state is displayed correctly in GSAK - must be some difference between a 'normal' PQ and the My Finds one
  19. It reads "I like easy puzzle caches"
  20. Just picked mine up from Blacks in Canterbury - first one they've given out apparently
