  4. I was some confused when reading the pdf file from Garmin: http://www.garmin.com/specs/GPS60C_CS_SpSht.pdf It's written "Interfaces:" compare to "Interface:" So I guess there is USB, and it should have been added to the "Interfaces:" section
  5. What is "USB" if it's not an Interface It may by that Garmin delivers a serial to USB converter
  6. It seems that you can do Autoroute on the GPS itself, according to this flyer. Metroguide will let you do Autoroute on the PC, and you can download it to the GPS. RR no Autoroute MG Autoroute on PC CS Autoroute on PC and GPS CN Same as CS but with voice on GPS

  9. Hei I did som testing and found that Road&Recreation only use half the amount of memory, compared to MG. When I selected 9 tiles in Chicago area with MG US 5.0 I got 15MB I do not have RR US, so I did a test with MG 5.0 and RR 4.0 of the exact same size area in Paris. MG 5.0 used 4.53MB and RR 4.0 used 2.07MB So to get more maps in Legend, use Road&Recreation.
  10. Mapsource is the software for viewing maps (MetroGuide, Bluechart, RR, Topo etc) on the PC, and use it to transfer maps to the GPS. Mapsource is included with Metroguide.

  13. http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209 Changes made from version 5.2 to 5.3: Fixed issue where the abbreviations for north, south, east and west were incorrectly displayed as localized strings in latitude and longitudes. Fixed issue where the go to position dialog was not working correctly in Asian localized versions of MapSource. Fixed some translation issues in Asian language resources. Fixed issue where MapSource would fail on some builds of Windows 95, because it tried to enumerate available USB devices. This feature is not available on operating systems older than Windows 98.
