Loss of Google maps is a step backwards IMHO....none of the new ones comes close.

Just purchased a Dakota 10 and cannot get the " world wide basemap" on the screen. All I get is a blank screen with the arrow icon. Zoom in and zoom out to 500 miles and nothing appears that would tell me I am looking at a map. E mailed Garmin and they said 2-3 days for an answer. Will have to give them a call. Just wondering if anyone has or had the same problem.

Same problem here. Submitted 2 PQ's yesterday and one this morning with no reply. Also submitted 2 new caches for review last Saturday and have heard nothing.

OK. thanks for the info. Maybe will go the Gmail route and just forget Hotmail alltogether.

I am not receiving e-mails generated thru geocaching to my Hotmail account, i.e from cachers who have reported finding caches I have hidden. I have switched my e-mail acct. but would like to keep the Hotmail. Any one have this problem
