  1. I guess the priority of this bug is somewhere in the basement. It seems to be such a simple thing to fix considering that this very number is correct on other pages.
  2. Hi, I looked for this already being reported but didn't find it. When I start to write a log message, but decide to go back for a moment (browser back button), go then again forward to the log site (browser forward button), I can still read the portion of text I have already written. However, when I click into the box to get the keyboard focus there, the text is deleted. What I would expect is that it is not deleted, but simply kept. This is using: Iceweasel (rebranded Firefox) 3.0.6 Linux x86_64, en-US; rv 1.9.0.18 KFL
  3. Hi, I will be visiting Portland mid of November (16.-18.). Coming so close to the Ape cache, I am of course thinking about trying it. I can imagine that some of you got it already, but some also might not have it yet. So I do have a couple of questions: - I know it will be winter and this is not the best time of year to try it, but I do not have a choice. How bad should I expect this to be? Google Maps thinks this is a three-hour drive from Portland, but I am not so sure that this is correct in the winter, with a rental car ... - I know I will have to come from the west - did anyone do this and could give me an estimate of what I should expect in terms of time and hike? - Most of all I would be very (!) happy to be not alone on that trip. Is anyone interested? I do plan to do this on November 16th, but this is a Monday. If I could find someone to join me - maybe even with his/her own car (of course I would pay the gas), I would consider coming a day earlier so that we could do it on the Sunday of the 15th. But I would need to know this quite soon. thanks, kfl
  4. Hi, this is a rather minor issue, but a bug nonetheless. I did not find another thread about it, so here it is: when I go to the friend list in my account (http://www.geocaching.com/my/myfriends.aspx) I see the list of my friends together with their current find and hide count. The find count seems to be updated correctly, but the hide count seems to have stopped being updated quite some time ago, resulting in incorrect information on that page. kfl
  5. I know that box. I wrote that in my original post. But how can I get the page behind that link showing me things like the times when a TB was _at the selected cache_ (and not logged somewhere else, as is displayed). Or how can I sort that list by the time that TB was last in that cache? That was what I am asking for. Consider a TB hotel with a lot of logs for TBs. Now I might remember 'Ah, there was that XYZ Geocoin in that one maybe two weeks ago, but now it is gone. And I do not know the name exactly anymore. So, what have been the most recent TBs in that cache and what happened to them (who took them and who dropped them when)? An example to make it even more clear: The wonderfull Supercache ------------------------------- TB history: Name Arrival Departure Discovered TB A 2008 03 11 by foo TB B 2008 01 03 by bar 2008 02 13 by foobar 2008 01 05 by fasel 2008 01 14 by blubber TB C 2006 03 20 by bla 2008 01 23 reported missing thanks, KFL
  6. Hi, on several pages I always see the note Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer. I am logged in. Couldn't I just agree to it once, Geocaching.com saves that and then that annoying note would go away? thanks, KFL
  7. Hi, it is maybe the forth time I now stumble over this 'It must be possible to do that, but how?', but I could not figure it out yet: I would like to see a list of TBs which happened to be in a particular cache together with their 'checkin', 'discover' and 'checkout' times and the cachers who did that. It should also be possible to be able to sort that list by those times (possibly also by the names). I know that there is a 'travel bug history' link on the cache description page, but it does not display that information, but things like the current location of TBs which at some point happened to be here. Am I the only one who would be interested in this or did I overlook that feature somewhere? KFL
