  1. Mostly good fixes and tweaks; I'll have to go check it out. Sad to see it go. I'm surprised that it was that much more resource-intensive than the Google Maps interface. One thing I liked about the KML option is that I could add multiple data sets to Google Earth -- e.g. caches, bus routes, park maps. Pocket Queries help, but for getting an idea of an area it was nice. Also, I may be wrong, but I think the KML link was available to "basic" members. Aww.
  2. Yes, for a while it's been 518400 seconds.
  3. I've seen that before. Sometimes one has to recreate the query.
  4. Sounds like an anti-virus program of some sort is renaming it.
  5. Exactly! It only seems logical to hide something the user has "ignored".
  6. Since cache pages are supposedly cached on the server, I suppose those counts sometimes take a nudge to re-generate.
  7. This is one of the major reasons I use GSAK. It would be great if it could be incorporated into the web site. (Bookmarks provide some note functionality but no "corrected coordinates" option at present)
  8. I see it. http://coord.info/GC1NJJ5
  9. I have a similarly complex multi in the works. An option to upload a GPX file for additional waypoints would be even more convenient.
  10. The checkbox is at the far end of the first row of icons, while the icon gets wrapped to the beginning of the next row: Of course, this is at default font size; if I increase the font size, the wrapping happens differently:
  11. What's #1? "Advanced search"? #2 sounds quite useful. I see there are still issues with #4 - although URLs like /my/gps don't exhibit this behavior. #19 is great. All the rest look like awesome tweaks. Thanks!
  12. Two easier ways to view the path in Google Maps: Use the View Map link (after the words "Tracking History") from the Travel Bug's page. This gives you an embedded map, and cache names will be shown as title text when you mouseover the numbered icons. No need to download and re-upload the KML file, just copy the link and paste that into the Google Maps search box, like this.
  13. If you know his username, there's a link on the right-hand side of your account page that says Find another player. There's currently no way to search by real name.
  14. That's because queries that have never run (including copies) have the highest priority and are run before regularly scheduled queries.
  15. For me, that page references http://www.geocaching.com/track/images/loc_unknown.jpg, which seems to work.
  16. The "Find -> Geocaches" option simply finds waypoints with the icon set under "Setup -> Geocache". Perhaps you've changed that setting?
  17. Often when this happens, it turns out that you have reached the limit of 40 (or 39) saved PQs in your list.
  18. Exactly, it's not the <div> that's the problem at all, it's the CSS. There's nothing special about a <div>..
  19. It shouldn't be required, then, I think.
  20. The parentheses are normally filled with the cache ID. But it shouldn't be difficult (programming-wise) to take them out if they're empty.
  21. Yes, an option to filter hides/finds of any of one's "Friends" would be great.
  22. Similar to sharing bookmarks, PQ settings can be shared, but not the resulting data. Just copy the URL to the edit page for that query.

    pdf question

The 2-page layout is actually due to an IE bug messing up the parameters in the URL. Perhaps a Greasemonkey script could remove the necessary parameter to get 2-up?
