  1. The OP sounds like a lot of fun...I'd give anything to go for that cache.
  2. Yes. You plug 'er in, tell it to upload field notes, then... Vista: select to view files. Delete the Fieldnotes.txt file. XP: Go to my computer, open up the em_usermaps drive, and delete the fieldnotes.txt file.
  3. Find it then call the cops. Then the bomb squad get's there, and then... KABOOM!
  4. I once found a $50 in a cache. Left our old GPSr I don't use anymore to trade equal.
  5. OK, what's the MOST fun you've had searching for a cache? Let's get a collection of good times rollin!
  6. It won't show caches!
  7. It's really useful to see the find counts. If I have a cache, and someone who has 2K find logs logs it, I go out and check. If someone with 10K finds but logs as notes finds it, I would assume it is still there because they only have LOGGED a few. I really hate it when people don't log. Even "We found it TFTC" is better than nothing. So it is great to see the found count. Same in the forums. Someone who hasn't logged very many+I don't care about their posts, there newbies. I don't think it should be implemented, and also think that everyone should log their finds. Seeing how many forum users alone don't log, I should probably just archive all my caches and commit geocide.
  8. Get a friend to help.
  9. Ooh another thing, I get spot-on reception in box canyons and heavy tree cover, 10-15 hours of battery life. I have: Dropped it off a 20 foot cliff Swam with it. Much more. Brain, make sure you have the latest firmware (2.6) intalled. It works wonders.
  10. Try the Delorme PN-40. It has paperless, it has lightning fast redraws, you can plug it into a laptop and get spoken turn-by-turn directions, and the best part is... All kinds of maps. Its changing the way we cache...for the better. You can buy one and have it foir a month, if you don't like it return it FREE!

    Is GC down?

A FTF just came up! Now I don't know wher it is! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
  12. No matter what I click, I get the error page.
  13. I don't care about numbers. By cross referenced, I mean you list a waymark, it goes on the geocaching site as well. There are some great vwaymarks out there, but its a hassle to go through both GC and WM. Gave up on it pretty fast.
  14. 100F+? Sure no prob. It'll keep me form longer hikes, that's all. 0F-? Never.
  15. I mean as geocaches. Waymarking is just ONLY viruals. Also maybe if waymarks would be cross-referenced to GC.com...
  16. Look closely at spelling. I'm frequently confused with another Santa Barbarian, GeoBigDogs. It could be a different person/dawg. But if its the same, youre first.
  17. Always be sent to the CO. There are numerous ways you could word most questions to get a "wrong' answer because the CO worded it differently.
  18. LOL maybe. I'll go out on a limb and guess the answer will be "no" Well its worth a shot. Correct me if Im wrong, but they're not allowed because too many people were trying to put lame ones. This would set a limit to how many could be set up...
