  3. Got my unit today...IT IS BEAUTIFUL. Thank you so much. I love it. It's MINT condition and ready to go.
  4. With the holiday season upon us.....SOMEONE out there must be getting a new PDA and looking to sell their gently loved PDA. I am patiently waiting for people to post their old PDA's for sale here, but thought I would post a "I am interested" message here. I would prefer a colour screen, but a steal of a deal on a B&W PDA would be considered in a heartbeat. Send me a PM if you have an offer for me. (Please include shipping costs to Canada) Thanks in advance.
  5. I am interested in it if CheshireFrog does not want it. PM sent.
  6. Ok, I took a picture today and figured out how to post it (I hope). If there is a pic attached to this reply, then I was sucessful on my first try. This is the pic of my unknown swag. It's a little different from the link of the TB posted above, but definately from the same family.
  7. Yes, that is very very similar, and looking at how the letters are cut out exactly like mine, this is from the same family/manufacturer. Mine is not cut out like the state of pennsylvania, but I know this is a sister to mine. I will contact the owner of this TB and see if they have more info. Thanks so much!
  8. While out caching this summer, I found a sig swag item that I have not been able to identify whom it originally belongs to. It was a blue carabiner with a metal tag (1" by 3") with the words "PENSYLVANNIA GEOCACHER" cut out in the tag. And it was individually numbered. (I can post a pic if my description is poor) I would love to find the original creator since it looked like it has been travelling for some time and well used. I have google searched, etc.. If this sounds like something you have seen out there or if you have one too....let me know. Anyone else have sig swag they can't identify?
  9. I was out caching and while searching for the cache (which was over 40 feet away from the posted coords....so I was there a long, long time) I heard gun shots in the distance. I forgot it was hunting season. Suddenly, that ugly bright orange caching bag that I passed up sounded divine! When I finally found the cache, I found that exact orange backpack in the cache. No just kidding...that would have been too perfect/creepy...actually I found a single 2 ft strand of neon orange marking tape that I snagged and is tied to my backpack. I was never so happy to find a 2 cent piece of tape in my life. It's still there....til I finally find that bright orange backpack again. Great thing to leave in a cache along with TP and new bandaids....for those life emergencies.
  10. Use a favorite picture of a killer whale and make your own keychains using blanks. This way you can add whatever you want and even have a variety of styles/series of them. Say, have one picture for your finds 001-100, then another for 101-200, etc... It would kinda "date" your signature items. See this eBay seller (I am not affiliated with this person): http://stores.ebay.ca/wky8525 This seller has keychain blanks really cheap and I was going to use this idea, but have changed my mind. He/She has all kinds of sizes and quantities for sale. Best price I could find. There might be a better price somewhere if anyone else knows, please post. Yellow Star Adventurers
  11. Yes, the name surely has alot of posibilities. I didnt think about having different swag for different sized caches. Hmm..... now I'm going to have to think about that. But for now, I'll stick with the regular/larger style swag...but I think I will use the button/sticker idea when I come across them. As for a craft store, I went to one of Canada's largest craft stores for ideas this weekend, and found NOTHING, except expensive stuff. For example, It would have cost me about $1.50 for a wooden star. They didnt have much cheap stuff there. I will tackle the dollar stores soon. I know something good is out there.....somewhere.
  12. I love this topic. OK, so I have been toying with the idea of sig swag myself and found thsi thread today. Here are some of the ideas I have come up with and am looking for feedback on what would be prefered/appreciated in a cache. They all cost about the same $. 1) Plain Yellow Lanyard in a baggie with my name/stats. 2) Make your own Keychain, with my avatar/stat on the inside. 3) Yellow Silicone Bracelet in a baggie with my name/stats. If you happen to think of a great idea for a "Yellow Star" swag, please let me know. Thanks for much in advance for your opinion. Yellow Star Adventurers (Myself and my 2 yr old son)
