  1. Have been using GCDroid successfully for many years. Now it fails to authenticate returning error 500. Noticed that it's currently not available on Google Play. Any news on this terrific application?
  2. Do we generally consider lab caches as a legit daily find in streaks? Certain challenge checkers doesn't seem to recognize them at all.
  3. Nice phone! Maybe off-topic, but could you at some time in the future give your thoughts on the accuracy of the electronic compass when using a geocaching app (e.g. Geocaching4Locus)?
  4. Thanks! This map version worked. Are there any render themes to be used? The colours on the map are quite limited.
  5. Which map version do WhereYouGo for Android support for offline use? Tried to use Mapsforge map version v3, v4 and v5 without success (invalid map version).
  6. Is it possible to upload the logs (fieldnotes) over Wi-Fi as drafts?
  7. You encouraged me to send a feature request to Garmin. I hope it will be written on a precious whiteboard.
  8. Any thoughts on why Garmin won't introduce this feature on their devices? Remember once using a Magellan Explorist GC that was able to show the cache attribute icons. It was indeed a pleasure.
  9. Is this unit (Garmin GPSMAP 66) able to show the cache attributes when using data downloaded over WiFi (Geocaching Live)?
  10. Does iCaching export the attribute information to the GPSr (Garmin GPSMAP 64st) in the same way like GSAK? GSAK puts the information as text in the cache description.
  11. Still problems? It seems like deleting the Personal Cache Note on a cache page doesn't change it to an empty state. When filtering caches which have a Personal Cache Note it also returns caches with Personal Cache Notes I've previously deleted. I'm using Edge on Windows 10. As an example GC7GWR1. I deleted the Personal Cache Note a month ago.
  12. Just verifying. Is it possible to add caches to my ignore list when using the android app?
  13. Hi! You can still use "Send to GPS" in Windows 10 to transfer individual geocaches into your GPSr. You have to use IE11 ( still found in Windows 10 ) and you have to define geocaching.com as a trusted website. 1. Make sure you have the latest Garmin Communicator Plugin installed 2. Open IE11 ( Start => All apps => Windows Acessories => Internet Explorer ) 3. Tools => Internet options => Security tab => Trusted sites ( green check mark ) => Sites 4. Click to clear the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone check box 5. Add www.geocaching.com as a trusted site 6. Close => OK => restart the browser Now it should work.
