Question, i am a newbie I know what a FTF is, but haven't found one yet. (Live in the sticks ) What kind of prize would be considered? if one was to set a new cache?

There are people out there who don't respect the creed (www.geocreed.info), you will find them in every group. When we are out and find broken items or trash in a cache we remove it and replace with better trade stuff. Making it more enjoyable for the next seeker.

I have read through alot of topics but have not found an answer to my question. I have read the guidelines but no answer there either. My Question is if you place a cach and check on it often for maintance and find alot of toys... is it ok to replace the items? Part of the fun is locating the caches but also the treasure inside. We are new to caching, and have found very few but it is disapointing to find a cach full of toys. soiled and smelling bad of mildew. Is it the cach owners responsibility to maintain a fairly decent cach for fellow cachers? wester0922
