I was originally able to get codes from that page, maybe 30 or so. One day I went to retrieve a code and it didn't work. That was about three months ago. I was told that it should be fixed in the next geocaching.com update but I have no idea when that will be. If you need an activation code, you can send an email to contact@geocaching.com with the tracking #. If you send a photo of the coin with tracking # showing, that'd be even better.

I never met Mike but know he was an inspiration to many in the geocaching community. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace Mike.

To get pathtags out of your ebay searches search using this string: geocoin -path* Anything with Pathtags or Path Tags will be filtered out.

I got a reply and the fix is coming but not for a few weeks until the next release. So the best way to get a code is to use the contact info above.

Yes, you have send me coins, casino tokens... wow!!! some days ago I exchanged coins with a guy and took an amazing casino token that says limited edition, 10$ gaming token, Atlantis casino resort, and the inside is pure silver!!! WOW!!! It also says... Reno, NV so it is in Nevada right?? Yep, the Atlantis Casino is in Reno, Nevada. I've stayed there before and prefer to do my (Reno) gaming there as well. If that token is like others I've won, it was probably won in a $1 slot machine, where you have to get three special symbols to win it.

Hey Stacey, I didn't have a problem with the shipping cost but just had the expectation that they'd package it properly, like so many of us do when we send coins through the mail.

I'm pretty sure I just bought a coin from the same seller and I had a conversation with a fellow coiner regarding this as they had bought a coin from the same seller and the coin got delivered damaged because of the way it was mailed. Not only is it a bad way to send coins through the mail, it's also against USPS rules, since it's being sent at "letter" rate, instead of a package rate.

Go to "Hide and Seek A Cache", and put in your geonick in the Hidden by Username box. Then sort by favorites and you'll see your caches listed by how many favorites it has.

I logged it back in 2005, when it was an armchair but now it's a legit virtual. But it's showing up as Farthest from Home and Farthest East for me. Not sure what could be done with that one.

The triangle coin is the official GW5 coin. The other two coins were GW5 coins minted by vendors who sold them at the event.

I thought both locationless and moving caches where having the same issue. You want to opt out? Clicking the souvenir tab is optional. There you go. I never said I wanted to opt out. I like the souvenirs. I just didn't want one that I didn't earn.

I have gotten a souvenir from a locationless or moving cache - perhaps it will inspire me to visit the actual location one of these days. That's a great idea! Maybe one day I'll get to Germany to actually find a cache in that area.

I have this exact problem. This virtual cache also screws up my stats on mycachingprofile.com. Maybe Groundspeak could change it to a locationless cache, since the other locationless caches don't have this problem. You have mail:D just wondering, what was the difference? On the first version, Yime was supposed to be covered up with solid enamel but the mint used translucent enamel. And on the second version, the pink enamel on the back will be a little "pinker".
