  1. When using an "IF" statement the proximity check doesn't seem to work correctly. I want something to happen if someone is not in proximity to a zone. However if you make a zone and then check for proximity it seems that no matter what you are not in proximity to the zone... Any help? StaticTank
  2. I've been traing my dog to find caches. It is kind of fun. He can't find anything that is real challenging but he can find some of them. StaticTank
  3. Another problem is other cachers might crash your date...Geocaching is fun no matter who you are with. If your significant other is along, all the better. StaticTank
  4. By this reasoning you cannot log caches that you sign when found as part of a group. So when caching with a buddy only the one who finds it gets to count it? I say you should log it. StaticTank
  5. You are not the only one; I only get about half my emails. This is the case for every thing. Notifications, owner emails, or bookmark lists. I am getting a little frustrated with it. StaticTank
  6. Actually, I think this has more to do with your operating system/broswer than the website. StaticTank
  7. This is sounds like an ALR (Additional Logging Requirements) they are not allowed any longer. StaticTank
  8. Didn't he post a note on the cache? How did you know it was reviewed? Maybe he gave you some instructions or and email on something you need to fix. StaticTank
  9. This seems to be a common problem. You are not the only one. They haven't given us much of an answer to this problem. StaticTank
  10. Agreed. I think Challenge Caches should have a seperate type!!! StaticTank
  11. You should trade something to take a trackable. An ideal situation would be to trade another trackable. However, you don't have to. Sometimes I will drop off trackables in caches that don't have them and take some out of caches that have a lot. You "SHOULD" trade for anything you take out of a cache. StaticTank
  12. Agreed! New caches came out last Sunday, it is now Thursday and I am getting newer emails but not those. did they get lost? Is it working now? Am I going to get ALL of my emails? StaticTank
  13. I disagree with this. FTFs really don't exist. However they are also very real. Many people enjoy them, myself included. For those that do enjoy them, there are unspoken rules. If you don't like FTFs, I could care less, more for me. I agree, but my bank accound just seems like a better idea... StaticTank
  14. I just noticed that emails from caches on my watched bookmarks aren't coming through either. StaticTank
  15. I haven't received any either. I posted this earlier this week and haven't heard back either. That post got off topic anyway. StaticTank
  16. I have recently run into this problem as well and it is very frustrating! StaticTank
  17. I haven't been getting notifications for new caches either. Something must be wrong. StaticTank
  18. I think they should count in the users hides. I don't think people are out there hiding caches just to improve thier hide count. I think it is good the way it is. If they are let them, more for me to find! StaticTank
  19. I don't understand why they have so little. They said it was to make money for next year. Why don't they just make a ton of them. The value might decrease for the coin holders but then the greedy people won't be making the money instead. I went to MOGA and I didn't get one. Now apparently I lost my chance again... Nice StaticTank
  20. I haven't had any brightness or battery issues with either the Colorado or the Oregon when I am outside. Batteries can go bad make sure even with recharables that when they don't hold a charge any more you replace them. StaticTank
  21. I see that there were some new caches in my area but there were no emails sent to notify me! Is there something wrong with the email server? StaticTank
  22. I love Maxpedition packs! They are almost indestructible! http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/viewPr...mp;idproduct=31 StaticTank
  23. Kelly, I am one of the people who helps plan and execute most of our local events. We have events all of the time. As a matter of fact we have them on the second Saturday of every month. We will be having one Tomorrow in Sioux City. Next month we will be having one back in Sioux Falls again! If you haven't already joined please look us up at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/eastern_sd_geocaching/ Most of the Sioux Falls people have joined that group. I am sure you will find many new friends in the coming months. I am sure you will see my name or one of my caches in no time at all! StaticTank
  24. But some of my favorite caches have an agenda (breast cancer awareness in the parking lot of a cancer specialty office, Coffee hints outside a shop, Dont' get busted outside a police station etc) Why can't they have an agenda? Or maybe a theme? Like, leave something from another country? Bring your exchange student with you, send this travel bug home to it's native country...etc? Maybe you should say it this way. Caches “shouldn’t” have to have an agenda. Many reviewers won't publish a cache with an agenda even if it is a good one. There are always caches that slip through. StaticTank
