  1. Hello, all... I searched and searched and searched for CITO labels for film canisters on this site, and I found either nothing, or broken links. So out of sheer necessity, I've made some myself! Visit my website for the downloadable Microsoft Word document. Enjoy. www.curtisandkim.com/geocaching.htm I'm also looking for anyone who is willing to convert these to a .pdf file. If you're able to do that, please email them back to me and I will gladly host them. Thanks!
  2. Hello, friends... I notice that there is a heading for caches I intend to find in the next 30 days. How do I enter those? I can' figure it out. Thank you.
  3. I've GOT to get this program. Thank you very much for the info!!
  4. Thank you... that's an excellent idea. I was hoping to do it without having to lug my laptop into "the field," but yes, that would definitely work. I think I'm going to try the Swiss Army Knife program, and perhaps the other one mentioned, but if I can't get those, your suggestion is what I'll use. Thank you for your reply! You are able at some point to get online with your computer to get to geocaching.com, right? But you don't have a printer so you can have a complete description of the cache, correct? If this is the case, a rather easy way to do it would be as you are looking at the cache page, use the "print screen" function on your computer. Have a blank word document opened, use print screen (this takes a picture of the screen) and then paste (ctrl +v) the image into the blank word document and then save it as whatever you want to call it. You can do this and have a folder of all your caches and all you have to do is turn on your computer and open the document whenever you choose. Hope this helps.
  5. Excellent.. I'll go check that out! Thank you!! I have a Palm Treo Phone, so that should be super helpful.
  6. Hello, I'm new to geocaching, and am having a GREAT deal of fun getting started. I'm currently on my way from Pennsyvlania to Southern California, and I haven't figured out how to download a full cache description without internet access. My cellphone is Verizon, so none of the programs work, and I downloaded EasyGPS onto my computer, but that's... well, weak, at best. I've got a very base-model GPS that doesn't connect to the computer. Any suggestions? I can get some of the info from EasyGPS, but none of the descriptions that people write, or the hints, or the size of the cache, or any of the fun stuff! Please help. Thank you.
  7. Hi there... I'm new to geocaching... only 4 finds so far, and in my case, it was complete ignorance. I've seen a few people do some really neat logs, and I agree that they are far more interesting, and much more fun. This was a good topic to start... even if you just reached me! Now I know. Happy Caching.
