  1. Recently, the 2.000.000th cache has been published which requires some serious monitoring. Therefore an observation lab has been developed to help doing this job. They should be in orbit in couple of months. Each observatory can be identified and is trackable. Size: 50 mm diameter, around 20 mm thick Spinning gravitation generator Trackable at geocaching.com with its own icon The samples are currently being made and are expected soon.

  7. 10 different models of batch 1 are now online here. The icon is now also online:
  8. I expect that in a 1-2 weeks the artwork is started. Production very soon after that.
  9. The first series of 23 different Butterfly Cacher Geocoins has arrived. They really became colorfull! Some already are fluttering to new locations. Coming thursday (around 6 pm CET), the first editions will be sold here. The Geocoins have their own icon and prefix (BCXXXX). Batch 2 definition is ongoing. Leave me an email / message if you want to join this batch.
  10. In the description there is the text: "D = angeblich nicht aufgelegt worden" which means something like: "reportetly not published" Maybe woejam can give the right answer here?! Sure, no problem. That edition has not been made. It was listed and reserved, but before production, it has been decided to cancel that one. There are more codes then actually amount of versions x 20 because there were some problems with an edition for which additional coins have been made with new codes. We are currently doing the final checks on batch 6 artwork.
  11. Yes, the eyes follow you everywhere, even in your dreams
  12. OK, then let's do it with this one. I'm checking for the price and then will setup a project environment. If someone is interested, then email me your google account and I will add it to the project.
  13. That might be a good one. Here's an alternative option for the backside:
  14. Here some small updates which makes the backside less busy. With respect to the difference front and backside: front is the unlucky side (black cat, etc), backside is the lucky side (at least in the eyes of the pagan).
  15. Sure, no problem. Here is some info all related to the pagan symbols used on the backside: The pentagon represent the four classical elements, along with a fifth element, which is typically spirit or self. Triskele (behind the 13) represent the three Celtic realms of earth, sea and sky Triquetra (bottom centre) represents the connection of mind, body and soul or three realms of earth, sea and sky The ankh is the ancient Egyptian symbol of eternal life Hand of fatima will protect them from the (evil) eye from above four forks: hands of the god Thor's hammer The (laurel) wreath, which is already used by a number of Hellenic organization, has a strong link to Hellenic practice in ancient Hellas The two R's are from the ancient Romans The symbols in the background are half raised will be covered with translucent, so it depends on the color how visible they will be. It makes the picture a little busy now, but in practice it will be less busy. Also the plating depends how it will look. I will try some adjustments and will post some alternatives.
  16. Here in the Netherlands, we had a lot of fun on the 12-12-12 event's as part of the multi-event. Very quickly after the event, we discussed the options for another event like this in 2013. However the normal sequence is not possible anymore. So we decided still to go ahead, using our sequence which resulted in two possible dates which can be used: 11-12-13 (which is in our case wednesday 11 december) and 13-12-13 (which is friday the 13th december) We decided that we will have two events: a small gathering on wednesday and a bigger event on friday with a night-cache. After some drawings, I found a way to make it work for both European (or ROW ;-) ) and US way of dates. Simply by reading the numbers in a little different direction (clockwise and counter clockwise). Here is the first draft of a coin which could be used for a multi-event. The front is Friday the 13th. In many eyes, the unlucky day... but for the pagans its a magical day.. If there is interest for others to join for a multi-event coin? Also, please let me know what you think about the coin.
  17. Neither did I until I stumbled on it quite by accident. We already had what we 'thought' were the only 8 versions.... the original set of 5, 2 mutants and the GS version. Wonder how many more there are ... Well, you never know with mutants.....but we have only one mutated version.
  18. The left is the Dutch edition, the right one is the Farmers edition.
  19. In the Netherlands Mayonaise is most common. When you order, you just ask for 'Frietje met' translated with 'Fries with'. No need to add that you want mayo. But also common is curry. That is a red ketchup sause with herbs. By the way, the taste of the mayo in the Netherlands is really different from the one in belgium. There are all kind of funny names for fries sause combinations. When you are in the Netherlands, you can try them all ;-) But then you have to do also a lot of long multi caches, because it is not really healthy food.....
  20. After some complaints that there are too little Belgium coins, we have developed tis cute coin together with the Belgium cacher Annizir. The slogan is: 'Frist cachen, then fries!!!' Size: 44 x 32 mm The coin is trackable via Geocaching.com and has its own icon. There are 4 versions: AE Satin silver with glitter LE gold and glow colored mayonaise LE antique copper RE black nickel The are now available here.
  21. Here the pictures of all 5 models. They have their own icon: Model C, D and E will be online coming thursday.
  22. In appr. 30 minutes, the remaining 9 Hedgehog editions of batch 5 will go online. If you are interested, you must be quick! When they are online, you can find them here.
  23. All information shared with AltantaGal. Batch-2 starts to be filled. Expected timing: Collect versions for batch 2 until mid next month. Artwork end of February. Production: March Delivery: end of march / early April.
