I just would like to drop a note.
Yesterday, i had the pleasure to meet a nice person, Otto, geocacher name ExTechOp.
We went together and his girlfriend Paula (this is how we write the name in Portuguese, i dont know if in Finish is in the same way) to do some caches.
He took me first to visit one of his caches that i could not find out, well hidden by the day
. Thanks Otto for the support, then another that we actually could not find it and finally we went to fetch his girlfriend and we went to a very nice area to do some caches all together. I was really pleased and happy to visit the place. Country side, quite and peaceful, nice place to walk, joguing or even ride a bike.I really would like to do it again. I really appreciate their company.

Hi there,
my name is Francisco. I'm a portuguese geocacher.
I'm on my way to Finland on a business trip (actually i'm going for training) and i will stay there for a month, maybe more, and on my free time i would like to take the opportunity to do some caches around Helsinki and Espoo.
If some one of you would like to join me after work and on weekends to do some geocaching it would be awesome.

tenho o Geocache Navigator instalado no meu nokia n73, estava a funcionar lindamente até k derepente diz o seguinte texto:- You don´t appear to have a valid subscription for Geocache Navigator. If you need any help bla bla bla....
conheço kem use e nunca fez subscriçao nenhuma !!!!
cm posso resolver isto...
eu tenho um N95, tenho conta premium e não tenho nenhum problema com o uso do sw.
Talvez tenha mesmo a ver com a situação do tipo de conta que tu tens
verifica isso, caso contrário terás mesmo que comprar o sw.FPaulos

Caso não se arranjem os backups para restaurar a informação, estamos a pensar fazer uma série de caches "lorem ipsum" que, à semelhança de séries de caches populares como as dos cinemas e dos polícias sinaleiros, "once you've seen one, you've seen them all"...
malditos americanos, nem backups completos sabem fazer, lá tem que vir o tuga tapar os buracos por incompetência dos outros FPaulos

é que sempre fui ao mapa através do site tuga, e agora esse link não funciona.. e não encontro no .com o dito mapa
O site do geocaching português foi "apertado" pela Groundspeak e foram obrigados a apenas disponibilizar a sua informação a pedido explicito pelos seus utilizadores registados. Ao que parece o número de hits na página inical do Geocaching.com desceu de forma bastante acentuada e com isso também existiram descidas nas visitas aos links publicitários.
Para conseguir ter acesso necessitas de enviar uma mensagem aos administradores do geocaching português.

Tudo tem um fim, e o fórum geocaching-pt.net acabou hoje.
Decidiu-se que não fazia sentido separar a comunidade, e então direccionou-se tudo para cá já que é oficial.
Bora lá continuar a postar.
Isto com certeza é brincadeira do 1 de Abril, não acham...
os Admins do nosso forum nacional, NUNCA farial tal coisa sem informar o ppl TODO primeiro
... bem esta é a minha opinião e vale o que vale
... espero que não esteja enganado

Boas,
Ao visitar hoje o .com para escrever uns logs, verifiquei algo muito absurdo, tenho umas 10 caches no perfil com o mesmo nome (Lorem Ipsum) e com uma bela descrição em latim.
Alguém me pode explicar isto ?
"Donec et purus. Aenean sit amet metus. Nulla faucibus purus eu dolor. Curabitur faucibus, enim et hendrerit tincidunt, risus libero mollis urna, sed congue ligula metus vel orci. "
Exemplo: A cache FTF do SuperFm, do mesmo owner a Watch Tower, Cantinho encantado do ManchaNegra, e por aí fora.
Será um virus html, brincadeira 1º Abril ou uma "hackeirada" valente ?

eu acho que não é problema nenhum ter DNF nos nossos registos.
Por um lado este registo também mostra a nossa participação no GC o que é formidável, no meu entender, a pesar de muitas vezes por este motivo ou aquele não conseguir-mos colocar «a mão na coisa» como foi dito
Eu, registo tudo, se fiz n km ou x cms e encontre ou não encontre, ora toma lá de um registo
...andarei por ai.

In the last four years i've been working in South Africa, but in September i was delegated to come to work in Portugal until the end of February 2008.
I really would like to assist you and take this TB with me, on my next flight to South Africa.
This year i plan to spend my New Year eve in Algarve and i will try to look for the cache where your TB is now, so i can bring it more close to where i live. So lets hope i have lucky...

Hello, My name is Antonio Pinto (Geopintus in Geocaching) and I'm a beginner in Geocaching in Portugal. Today I placed my first TB. It is a soccer ball with the national team colors and the goal is to travel from Portugal to South Africa and celebrate the FIFA World Cup in 2010.

thanks for all the input.
Actually i already start to do some of the caches that are also part of your query.
Before i came here, i tried to prepare myself in a way that i could do as much caches as i could.
If you would like to join me one day for some hunting, please contact me, we can try to organize something for the weekend and go somewhere around. I dont have my own transport, im using only public transport.
