I don't know much about challenges, and I would like to know if its ok allowed to complete a challenge before it was published? example: Taking a photograph in the location 3 years before the challenge was published. thanks

The best caches in PR are located mostly in the non-touristic areas of the island, you can find real adventure here, If you have time.

Hawaii has more caches, but it should also be considered that they have more islands & land mass.. they have a total of 10,931 sq miles vs PR that has 3,515 sq miles.

Hi, recently I found a GC/TB that had a mission of visiting the Hawaiian Islands and traveling among caches among the islands. I found it while being in Maui and took it all the way to the Caribbean. Is it wrong to take it far away opposite direction 6000 miles to start over again his mission?

It was a difficult find because I had to climb 4 waterfalls, slippery wall rocks and swim holding my gps,shoes and camera up with one arm in freezing water but finally found it. When going back, I was climbing down one of the rocky slippery walls and I felt fast on the last 8 feet and my fingers(2) got stuck in the rope and took all the impact. I thought I broke 2 fingers and I went to the MMMC(Maui Hospital) and had X-RAYS done! I've never been to the ER in my life, before this incidence! Have you been to the ER for a Geocaching incidence?

People are stealing geocoins like crazy here in Maui, I've found only 1 here and many have postings for many many geocoins and now people are scared of placing them, it's horrible!

Hi, just thinking about geocaching at international airports and I can Imagine regular caches are not allowed, but what about virtual caches? I tried searching for two airports : LAX and JFK and it only showed caches around the airport's vicinity but not inside of the airport(like terminal areas etc )

Is that option available for regular members?

I already contacted the website and they told me to post it on the website. Geocaching in Puerto Rico is growing fast and it would be nice to have a front page with the latest stuff(TBs, caches, events.. etc ) What is the process on getting one?? Thank You

Depends on the complexity of the cache, easy caches around 15 min, more complex around 45-1 hour and even more. There is one cache i've been 5 times and i've searched for 1-2 hours each time, because it's very complex and people have found it after i've been there and it's still a DNF!

Hey everyone! By mistake I wrote a double found log, so I deleted one, but it still counts the deleted log(101 founds) when I go to any of my cache logs but If I go to my profile in the top right corner it says I have 100 cache founds). Why didin't the counter substracted the log I deleted? now it's all scrambled because I just reached my 100th cache found and it looks like it's actually 101. ok , what does archived means? if the owner never goes back to the cache it gets archived?? also what happens if they steal the logbook , can you place a new one? it's not fair for the people who already visited the cache. thanks newbie with lots of questions!

hmm weird, I don't see the message that I wrote, let me write it again, just in case.. Today I went to a multi cache(3), and when I got to the second one, it was laying in the ground in plain view with the canister crushed and nothing inside. I could get to the 3rd one because I didin't have the coordinates, they were suppost to be on the 2nd cache. My question: how should I log this entry? as found , not found? archived, need mantainance? help please
