I am sure you will find a few geo mates on the up comming event. As for me I like geocaching alone as well.

I met once 2 boars. I could hear them comming, but I wasn't sure, what they are. So when they came out from the bushes I was surprised. They were a bit scary, but they were more scared from me I guess. They ran away so fast, I couldn't take my cam out and take some photos.

I have the same problem. I will go to Frankfurt next week, and now it is ok, that I can take my GPS on board - I wouldn't leave it in my package, but what about batteries? Can I take them to the plane as well?

can you explaine why it isn't international? Different is, that in a Hungarian cache you can find a password, an with this you can log the finding. There are some caches, wich are published here, but not on the Hungarian site, and the mods there aren't really tolerant in this case.

When we found the first cache, we met the owner. It was a big surprise, and he was very kind, he explained a lot of things, what we didn't know, he had a lot of experiences. WE were very happy about this meeting. :-)

In Hungary we have now exactly 2239 caches, just not all are published here.

That is getting common, but it shouldn't. We found it several times in caches ...
