  5. Did the reporter say how the kids found the geocache?? either way this sucks........ but sounds like little boys hiding p@rn in the park....guess what its in a majority of parks accross the country...... little boys are just hiding their p@rn from mom and dad - its not safe to hide p@rn in their bedrooms.
  6. $50 bucks for a hunk of plastic??? holy cow!!!!
  7. Its a great way to draw the attention of the police. You might get off with a warning, or you might get fined, or if you run into a cop in a particularly bad mood, you may find yourself in jail waiting for a friend to bail you out. If you're willing to risk that, then go for it. ...tough laws in your neck of the woods... maybe you shouldn't be going dressed like a
  8. You are sooo nice .... I would have tried to scare the crap outta him!!!! (heck you knew he was in there)
  9. (I really only perfer night caching unless a 4/4 or higher)
  10. I often think I should be wearing "clear" eye protection to prevent walking into a branch and poking my eye out. but I'd suggest a headlamp, cell, and your gps. I always try to plan ahead of time to know the "posted" park times most of that I try to find the times on city or county websites. Going in groups is fun but....persents a slight problem with MANY people in the woods with flashlights it really attracts attention vs. regular daytime hunts.
  11. the First ever "get sauced" event....1/13/2004
  12. The Fat Rat cache page.... Just about any log here is funny.....fits right with the theme. Is nice that everybody stays on pace and no logs that say Just "TFTC"
  13. A lot of times...... We caching in a group...we don't have the cords at all for a cache.... But one person in the group has found it alrdy. so we go to the location and he/she says "my virt. GPS" says its that away about 100 feet....pointing at the general area.
  14. $20 box....little cheaper.... Looks 2 me like this can be done for a reasonable price.
  15. why wouldn't this work??? http://www.gelexan.com/gelexan/features.html The physical advantages of LEXAN resin begin with its strength and extend to its resistance to the elements of: Heat (up to 212°F/100°C) Cold (down to -40°F/-40°C) Water Weather Ultraviolet light Flame (Underwriters Laboratories UL 94V-0 listed) Many of the visual features of today's outstanding product designs are made possible by LEXAN resin and Visualfx® resins from GE Plastics. From virtually unlimited colors and hues, dramatic surface textures, crystal-clear transparency or translucency to metal flake, speckle and light-diffused special effects – LEXAN resin helps add high style to high performance. hmmm...I know it gets Colder (down to -40°F/-40°C) in some areas...but what happens if it does??? and how often is somebody out caching in this weather to touch it?
  16. Start out first by practicing CITO without a GPS. Pick up all the cans. Since you don't have a GPS you will have extra time to Trashout. Then drive to a state that gives you the extra 5cents or 10cents on the bottle/can.....(Kramer did this).
  17. "share the land" is 6hrs round trip.... most have freaked out on the first leg after seeing the cords...and haven't tried it.
  18. At first I said the SAME EXACT THING about mtn-man.................. but then I soon realized he knows what he's doing and I find it hard to believe that ANYBODY will donate more time and effort to geocaching them him! Seriously---Minnesota is lucky to have him! **suckin' up doesnt hurt either**

  20. Simple...it was the day the last day he logged onto GC.com which was Friday. After I got back home from the Cabin on LATE Sunday Night I was reading my emails and erased it by accident. (of course I think I did it when I erased all my watchlist caches) (3 days worth is a ton).
