  1. Hmmm.. after mulling over the "Category" I came to the conclusion I might have to start all over again logging about every "Waymark" I submitted so far. I think it would be easier if I "Waymarked" the city or town and added all the 'Waymark Links" to the attractions I have already submitted that are located within their bounderies. Is there no end to this "Game"?
  2. Took me a while but I see now why the messages that I have attached to some "Waymark" submissions have been ignored and left unanswered. If an "Officer" receives and reviews a "Waymark" he-she is unable to see the attached note therefore not able to reply to anyone that might want some clarification, has a suggestion or comment to pass along without writing to the whole group.. Probably some "Leaders" never read or even check when a "Waymark" is already approved by one of the "Officers" How about giving all "Officers", not just the "Leader", the right to read the "Private Messages" ???
  3. After viewing Bruce's "St. Johannes Danske Lutherske Kirke" I had to include this outstanding "Waychapel" in Hawai`i Click this link for the -Hand painted interior of this Church-
  4. You can.. I only started last year. (on my own) Step by step. It's all here 'Copy & paste' Here is a page to get you started. ---->Dave Raggett's introduction. Use a dummy page and experiment with it.. 3D-glasses can be ordered from --->Free glasses for the price of a postage stamp.---Also look at their Mars 3D Anaglyph Gallery.
  5. Can we blow our own horn? --->Like this one ? ...and don't forget to check out the links on this "Waymark".
  6. Would that not create a third 'Category'? This first - ...and this second - ----the "World War 2 Memorial Managers" group. It's already in existence.<--- I scanned the 'Categories' but couldn't find it.
  7. ...and "Roadsite Stops - Picnic Areas - Scenic Roadsite Lookouts - Gas Stations - Information Centres - Blueberry/Veggy Gardens - Johnny/Jane on the Spot" - the list is endless. (let's not forget those darn expensive batteries) ...How to enter them into "Waymarks along a Route" is another problem. (eh - OpinoNate?)
  8. Not at all ----- I have come across a few of them and I am sure others have too. Go for it.. Sounds good to me. Here is a photo of a bench in front of a restaurant, in Kailua-Kona Hawai`i, with "Bubba Gumps" suitcase and a pair of boots on the floor, that customers usually slip their feet into to pose for a picture.
  9. How many Tim Hortons locations are there .. In Canada? --- Canada (2,636) In the US? -- United States (300) ---- or should I say "America"? --regardless. we are on the move
  10. Now, now -- easy there! We are not slamming you at all If you went back the past year and checked the previous 'Forums' you'd find a lot of ideas get "slammed" here. It is never personal, only critiques of some ideas, as some get proposed, pass 'Peer Review' and end up as a "Category" anyway, even with some negativity in the posts. Give us a good argument for your proposal (facts) and we might just warm up to it.
  11. 1.The XM & Sirius will only come into play "if" a station also broadcasts on one of the two, at which time you list the channel number only. (in the variables) 2. If 'Simulcasting' on the internet the web-link must be posted too. 3. NO internet stations are eligible for logging as all stations must be received by home or portable receivers. To tell the truth 'Bruce' I have given it some thought but haven't resolved the problem yet. This is the reason I am throwing this out in the 'Forum' and hope to get some constructive ideas from 'Peer Review' also. Sometimes you don't see the forest because all of the trees and you don't see some of the 'things' you should have included until the 'submissions' start coming in.. I am sure someone will come up with an acceptable answer. B.T.W...I only included some of the above 'logos' to catch your eye and make you linger a little longer and hopefully solicit an answer.
  12. We are now in "Peer Review" Radio Station Peer Review Page Have you travelled to another town or city and wondered what they had to offer on their radio stations that might be of interest to you? Well, now you can post them on "Waymarking" and later refer to the listings to learn more about them before you start your trip. Here is your chance to populate a "Category" with submissions of your favourite music, talk or maybe sports stations.
  13. Here is a sample of good pole number usage.
  14. This might be a moot question but if a "Category" stipulates it has to be for 'America' do we automatically assume that they mean U.S.A.? Would 'Canada' as well as 'Mexico' not qualify under 'America' or would they be under "North America" ?
  15. We are up and running and waiting for your "YEA" for "Skateboarding Parks" Link to "Peer Review"
  16. Just fill in any required boxes with Yes or No, or any number and when you have the actual facts delete them and enter the right items in it's place.
  17. Never knew about this program until I read this 'Forum Link'. Mailed away my info a week ago and received my "BRONZE PIN" this week already. ..Hi ho, hi ho - off for silver I go
  18. Who me ???? Almost rear ended a car to-day when I saw another "Waymark" to log Boy it was close
  19. If this "Category" doesn't get listed soon I will add it to my stable and I have a T.B. for it. Take a look at my Grampa Rollerblading who started his travels in Hawai`i on March 1st 2005 and is now residing in New Brunswick. In the photo above 'The Blue Quasar' is showing 'Grampa' around Niagara Falls.
  20. Thanx - chstress53 now let's hear a few more "Hint- Hint - Jeremy
  21. WOW Dad, there is a pipe sticking out of the ground and there is water coming out of it! Yes Son, it's called an "Earthcache" or Artesian Spring so take a good look at it as you may never see another one like that again.
