Io ho un GPS scarsissimo che fa sempre molti errori... per esperienza posso dirti che una volta in zona la cache la trovi "ad occhio" e non ti serve a molto il GPS: quando ne avrai fatte un po', ti guardi intorno e dici: è lì. Ho dato un occhio al sito ma non riesco a capire che chip di ricezione usa il tuo modello, quindi non so darti un giudizio, mi spiace. Ciao

Ne approfitto per porre un'altra domanda sempre in topic: è possibile comprare da Groundspeak solo i codici di tracciabilità degli oggetti senza dover comperare anche le targhette? Vorrei creare vari tracciabili "unici" su cui apporrei a mano il codice e la targhetta in quel caso è solo uno spreco di metallo e spese di spedizione... Grazie

Sarò drastico, ma dato che nel sito non compare e si spaccia per una cache ufficiale (vedi logo), se all'interno non ci sono riferimenti all'owner per chiedere chiarimenti io la toglierei ed amen. Ciao

Ciao e benvenuto, intanto vorrei dirti che secondo me è sbagliato "puntare al numero". Ogni cache ha le sue particolarità e le sue bellezze da gustare e spesso vale la pena farsi 100Km per una sola cache piuttosto che andare in città per loggarne una decina tutte insieme. Premesso questo, ognuno è libero di interpretare il gioco come vuole e, per rispondere alla tua domanda, secondo me devi fare una valutazione. Noi ad esempio andiamo sempre a fare cache in gruppo (da solo sarebbe una noia), ma l'unico membro sempre presente sono io, gli altri vengono quando gli gira. Essendo una specie di "leader" del team, abbiamo deciso che solo io ho l'account e registro le cache un po' a nome di tutti. Quindi, se tu sarai quello sempre presente e gli altri si aggregheranno quando vorranno, ti suggerisco di fare 1 solo account e di gestirlo tu. Se invece prevedi che anche gli altri vadano a farsi cache per fatti loro senza di te (in primis valuta se posseggono un gps ), allora fai registrare un account anche a loro (sempre che lo vogliano) e quando andate a loggare le cache loggatele singolarmente per ciascuno di voi, come molti altri team fanno. Cmq, come già ti hanno detto, è una cosa che dovete decidere voi in base a come vi torna più comodo. Ciao e buon geocaching. Gabriele

Non è che legga granché il forum... però ci sono, in diretta dalla Toscana Avevo notato pure io che in puglia/basilicata la situazione cache è abbastanza disastrosa... pensavo di porre rimedio quest'estate in vacanza ma vedo con piacere che qualcuno mi ha anticipato Ciao a tutti

I use CompeGPS with my PPC, it's not specifically designed for geocaching, but it's useful 'cause it lets me to load military area maps and use them as reference when looking for some road path to try getting as close as possible to caches inside woods by car and to have an idea of where I am. I get all the nearest caches that I haven't found in gpx format on my mailbox every Friday (using pocket queries), then I wrote a script which automatically converts the gpx file into a CompeGPS waipoint file (.wpt) and then it generates a folder with html files containing updated caches' descriptions (with logs, number of TBs in the cache, etc...). Then I just have to connect my PPC to my PC to let it sync and I automagically got an updated list of all the caches of my interest in my hand

Hello, I think it would be useful to have a feature to allow not only the TB owner but also the owner of the Cache where a certain TB is listed to move a TB to an "unknown location". Too often I signaled an owner that a certain TB is missing (after visiting the cache) and he decided to not move it to unknown location, leaving the TB listed in the cache. Time after time, even more TBs are listed in the cache that are not really there and this becomes a serious issue (especially on TB hotels). Do you too think this feature would be useful? You it would be inappropriate? Why? Plz let me know.

Ciao Davide, a mio avviso non è mai una buona idea frammentare una comunità, specie se non è poi così numerosa (saremo un paio di centinaia attivi in Italia, non molti di più).
