  1. It must be the Great Flower of Understanding. After searching the whole world, someone found this flower growing only in this little piece of the mountains. He used this flower as medicine to try to understand how the mind of a woman works. And one day he managed to understand a woman. But it was only for one day, and it was only one woman. Or it can be some kind of mushroom or fungi...?
  2. It wasn't the queen visiting the bushmen paintings and nice fishing spots. Or was it ?!
  3. I also had to use Google to get to the right answer and learned a few this about this. I hid my first cache at the previous premises but had to archive it after the shop moved. The shop is now at one of my other caches at Casterbridge where you can still taste very interesting orange wines/liquers which include ginger, chili and cream.
  4. I know the current owners, Jaco and Christine, who told me that the Rottchers came from Natal where there is also an orange winery. I can't remember them talking about any other place though.
  5. I only know this one here in Witrivier (Rottcher Wineries) but I also think there is about 3-4 in the country.
  6. Yes, line out it is. In Rugby Union, when the ball goes out of play, a line out takes place. In rugby league, a scrum is awarded. Your turn VryBurgers.
  7. Hi thanks CH and yes we hope so. Keeping it with rugby: Which 'set piece' play is used in Rugby Union, that does not feature in Rugby League?
  8. Yeah,go ahead, I would say. This is a fun topic and not meant to be stationary. The correct answer was posted more than a week ago and if the person posting the question doesn't respond, it might be that they were too busy caching to read the forums.
  9. According to a book by historian Hans Bornman, the unfortunate Roy Spencer was shot dead by his drunk friend Walter Scott, after Walter accused Roy of stealing his purse. Roy was buried the same night in that grave with the help of a few friends of Walter and his grave marked with a wooden cross with the words "Robber Grave". When Walter returned to his tent the next day, he found his purse on his bed. He was so stunned and felt so guilty that he went back to the place where he killed his friend and took the same gun and shot himself. He was then buried next to Roy. Roy Spencer, was engaged to Elizabeth Webster, better known as the famous barmaid Cockney Liz from Barberton. Your turn CH.
  10. CH, the first part is correct. I don't know if he ever met Fitzpatrick but it might be possible. The link I'm looking for is female from somewhere in the "De Kaap Valei".
  11. Many of you know the "Robbers Grave" in Pilgrims Rest (there's a cache there). What was the tragedy about his death and to which other famous character of that time was he related to?
  12. Some say he is so strong that he can bend a lie. Others say he can fool Chuck Norris (or Ben10). All we know is, he's called The Stig!
  13. Nope. Chuck Norris gave him a choice, take a number for a surname or die . . . .
  14. Hi CH. You were one of the most important EC developers on my road to get to platinum. The sad thing is that I got platinum before you did because of your location. I wish I could help you out a bit but for that you have to travel back south!
  15. Hey great news ! Over the weekend I searched for your 3 new ones in Nelspruit and once again couldn't help thinking of all the effort you put in each cache, container and location. We're all happy you're back. Now for that promised beer . . .
  16. You can also check out the Maga Wales event cache for more tips and ideas.
  17. I had to look on the map. It must be the 5 in the Great Fish River Nature Reserve: Adam's Krans, Khwalimanzi Hide, Sam Knott Viewpoint, Fort Double Drift and Double Drift Picnic and Camp site.
