  1. The number of active EarthCaches in South Africa crept to over 400! Well done.
  2. A weekend in Barberton is always a wonderful experience for geocachers, especially for those who are interested in ECs as there are currently 12 and there are so much possibilities for more ECs. It will be great if more cachers can join the event as the tour to Eureka City will be guided by a geologist who knows the area and it's history. This is going to be a very interesting outing.
  3. I don't think that the guided tour include the Geotrail. That would be way too much for one day. The same guide however is the same geologist who guided us on the previous event and he knows his rocks. As the event is during a long weekend, someone can maybe arrange another event for the Geotrail on the Saturday.
  4. Well done iPajero. I hope that some time I'll be able to visit some of those great ECs. And thanks to CH for having a prize give away.
  5. There is still about 6 ECs on the Barberton Geotrail I'm still working on. But the time....eish.

  11. Charles Lindbergh was, in May 1927, the first person to fly a plane non-stop from New York City, USA to Paris, France. He became the first "Man of the Year" of the Times Magazine's annual tradition. All yours Pooks.
  12. Person of the Year (formerly Man of the Year) is an annual issue of the United States news magazine Time that features and profiles a person, group, idea or object that "for better or for worse, ...has done the most to influence the events of the year." The tradition of selecting a Man of the Year began in 1927. Who was the first "Man of the Year" for Time Magazine?
  13. CH, wasn't that question asked a few months ago? Was he not the guy who ran the Comrades in his rugby toks?
  14. The cache was one of Fish Eagle's caches at Trout Hideaway, The One That Was..... It was a pity those caches had to be archived. Feel free to post another pic.
  15. Hint: you had to use a boat to get to the cache.
  16. This cache was one of a few that had to be archived. Very unfortunately.
