  1. Its a new thread everyday by the same complainers. Can't these few whiners who are detracting from geocaching.com be banned for good? They never have any positive suggestions. I need to stop reading the forums until the admin. do something to controll the situation. I get irritated reading these few complainers same complaints everyday in a new thread. These people will never be happy no matter what the mods or admin does. I still think 99% of geocachers are more than happy with the way things are run. Keep up the great work Jeremy and crew.
  2. Hi, we ahve been geocaching since Easter. We have 129 finds. Its a great family hobby. I usually read the forums every day but seldom post. Recently I posted a few times just to complain about all the anti mod postings. What I like most is getting info for geocaching, I learned about paperless caching and bought a Dell Axim 3, and use GPS Sonar, and Mapopolis. I really like being able to learn new tech items. I also like the stories of the unusal finds, ect. I would love to see a geocaching magazine or newsletter with more stories. Thanks for all the fun created by Jeremy and crew. A very satisfied customer.
  3. Its the same few people who just love to complain about the mods, maybe we should just ignore their threads. We read their same complaints everyday. It gets so old. Geocaching.com is doing such a great job. It has given my family hours and hours of fun. I think Jeremy and the whole crew are doing a fantastic job. I bet 95% of the geocaching community would agree with me. I jst wish the mods would stop these threads sooner. If I was a newbie to geocaching and I read the forums I would think geocachers were a rude group, but I have met a lot of geocachers in person and e-mail and they are all great so far. Keep up the great work Jeremy and crew.
  4. Why are there a few always so eager to jump on a CO's back. Big deal, he is letting someone log a cache they found that wasn't listed. If you guys are so unhappy with every little detail of geocaching.com why keep playing? Go to the other site where it is so much better and the rest of us will enjoy the forums so much more anyway!!! I think if an aprovers said everyone have a great day, the few would be complaining "They are trying to tell us what to do again."
  5. We just sent $50.00 via Pay Pal, If I could make a wish it would be that no childs wish goes unfulfilled by this charity and people like Diablo are seeing to this. Hope you raise a lot more in this final week. Escapades Oroville, CA
  6. I don't understand why some people think virtuals are so much easier than traditional caches. Some of the virtuals we have been on take alot of time and are really interesting. In Nevada City, CA, The American Way of Life cache was a multi virtual that had us all over town getting info at different sites to put in an equation to get to the final site to answer more questions. It took over two hours to complete and was fun and interesting. I like virtuals, tradionals, micros, whatever its all for fun and I think each one should be included into your cache total. Everyone has a right to be stupid. Some just abuse the privilege
  7. I think it is a big improvement. I like seeing all the changes lately, keep them coming! Everyone has a right to be stupid. Some just abuse the privilege
  8. I think I am a tech challenged geek. I have my GPS, but had a friend explain it functions, just ordered a new Dell Axim X3i for holding cache sites, but I will need my friend to show me how to use it. Haven't figured out the avatar thing yet, but I have been using a computer for 2 years and am starting to get the hang of it...I just had a thought, anyone posting messages on geocaching discussion pages is probably a geek!!!!!! Maybe I am learning enough to become a geek. Everyone has a right to be stupid. Some just abuse the privilege
  9. We have a Magellan Sportrak Pro which we use to download waypoints from the computer, so would we download geocaching pages through a program like spinner or sonar to the PPC or PDA then when out geocaching we could look up caches nearby and see the pages. How many cahe pages can a PPC hold? If your on vacation and not sure where you will end up you would have to have a lot of cache pages on the PPC. Everyone has a right to be stupid. Some just abuse the privilege
  10. Do they make a handheld device that when out geocaching you can go online and look up nearby caches? Do you hook it up to a cell phone to connect to the internet. Do the cache pages look like they do from a home computer. I don't know a lot about computers so need something easy to operate. any idea's Escapades
