  1. Thanks for your reply. I did not seem to have an issue with it until recently, but who knows.
  2. Indeed yes, I thought about backstroke but in theory since you are swimming head first I consider that to be going forwards. That's the ding to dodgydaved.
  3. Thanks, didn't mean to cause controversy. Which former Olympic sport required competitors to move backwards?
  4. Since the last update I have noticed that on the odd occasion I log a cache in the morning the date is showing up as the previous day. I am not sure exactly what the cutoff time is but yesterday it was around 10.00 am when I logged the cache, and it appeared as the previous day. This only matters on days when I log a single cache and I am trying to cache on as many days as is possible. I gave been manually changing the dates on caches to the correct one but this does not seem to change the statistics grid. This has been changed by adding an additional entry and then deleting one. For yesterday's cache I changed the date in the log but did not add an additional log so the cache is still in the statistics for 14th, although log is now dated 15th. I am not sure if anyone else has this problem (or is concerned by it) but it does annoy me a bit. Thanks
  5. Will give it 24 hrs to see if anyone else can add to the info you gave.
  6. nearly there- anyone got a name? Yes it was for alcohol and somewhat strangely 15 people tested positive for tranquillisers and were not banned.
  7. Thanks for the ding. Still thinking about the Olympics- Winter and Summer- Who was the first sports person disqualified and banned after drug testing was introduced in 1967?
  8. Berlin should have hosted in 1916, but they were given twenty years later instead due to WW1.
  9. I dont think the option Brooklyn refers to is available on the intro app- certainly on the iPhone, although it is on the paid app. If phone users are being told in he forums, as I have read recently, not to bother with the paid app as it may be filtered out perhaps this is part of the problem?
  10. I was given the Etrex 10 as a present and grateful. However if I were buying I would probably pay a bit more and get the 20 as it has a memory card slot so you can add better maps and more caches. As a range I really like it, generally simple to use although manual that comes is rubbish.
  11. Magic, thanks. I tried it out earlier today. Thanks all who replied.
  12. Question wasn't clear so that's the ding. I had meant why was Harper singing. Legend States the band were unhappy with all their attempts at the vocals so asked the iconic folk singer.
  13. A lucky guess. Thanks for the ding. Who sang the vocals for 'have a cigar' from album wish you were here- and why?
  14. I reckon it's Dr Parsons for a but no idea for b. Was hoping someone else would have worked it out by now.
  15. Thanks will print it off- have managed to enter coordinates manually now.
  16. Thanks for your reply- I don't have a paper book so have been finding my way until now.
  17. I have a Garmin Etrex 10 and an iPhone. At present if I solve a mystery at home I can update the co-ordinates online before downloading to the Etrex. If I am out and about and solve a mystery how do I enter the new co-ordinates into the Garmin? Often I am away from home without PC access. Do I need to wait until I am in the area again? I know I can use my phone and add waypoint but thought there must be a way with the Garmin. Thanks
  18. Just a note to say this seems to be resolved since last update. Thanks to all involved in working with this.
  19. Ok thanks- who was the oldest child in the Sound of Music?
  20. Rodgers and Hammerstein - usually Rodgers composed the music and Hammerstein wrote the lyrics for their joint works.
  21. That depends which line of the verse you refer to. The most well known line is "feed the birds, tuppence a bag" however later in the verse she sings "feed the birds, that's what she cries"
