  1. Waffle house, can't beat it. If you need co-ords for one, you really are lost.
  2. Whoo wee, I know what you're feeling, did the big move to South Carolina 3 years ago (from England) Don't be bad about grits now, try them with cheese on top and a bit of pepper, Waffle house is pretty good once you get used to the idea, 24 hour breakfast has a lot to be said for it (excellent after a few beers) I have no idea where White Oaks is, but if you get the chance, don't miss the Tube Torcher cache in the Henderson area, it's a beauty.
  3. Gosh, that looks like the one I have in my barn, I'm in Greenville SC if you want him to head out this way let me know and I'll try to get to him. Our Artillery unit is having it's Christmas party in 2 weeks or so, he's more than welcome.
  4. Awww, I got a HAWG a month or two back, told a friend about the deals Shuey offers, he asked for the web site, and every time I try to pull it up I get a 'not found'. Anybody know whats up? Cheers just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  5. Personally, I don't like the lightweight S&W, I found it hard to shoot, probably because it was so light. I only put 20 rounds through one, but found I was shooting better with my Stainless .38 special, same barrel length (2 1/2"?) just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  6. Ok, lets try it like this http--photopoints.com-main-photos-streamimage.aspxpictureID=e0abd68a-a685-4ca7-8897-e0a25eb44fb6 bugger it, I give in just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  7. Nothing to do with caching, but I'm rather proud of this one taken last weekend. I'm not even a yank, but felt all patriotic when this came down at the Winston Salem airshow just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you bugger, can't figure how to post it, try this copy and paste http://photopoints.com/main/photos/showphoto.aspx nope, that didn't work either - how 'bout some help here? 8. is it possible to get this info by searching for the bug by name? assuming you know its name just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  9. SLC Dave wrote On a side note, I just got about 200 samples of those Eclipse Breath Strips from someone that I know that works at an airline. Too bad I can't leave those in cache containers! They weren't dropping hints were they? just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  10. 4. Items should be in good order (broken items don't work for caches.) Imagine that, broken items don't work, well I never just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  11. This is SC calling, I'll run one for you here, but have a question, what sort of terrain/ difficulty do you want? I have a 3/4 I'm considering as my first cache, I could make it a part of that (2 hours round trip in the woods, but well worth it for the view) is this what you are looking for, or do you want it nice and easy? just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  12. https://www.magellangps.com/en/gpsAdventures/geocaching/caches.asp bit late though, it seems some people have found it, latest I read someone had messed up the runners up prizes too. just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  13. co-ords for latest are Concord NC, good luck all, bit too far for me Gory just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  14. Nobody else noticed how these people could identify cannabis, bongs and meth labs? Makes ya think, don't it? just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  15. Sams club has a made in China Mongoose for about $130, buy it, try it, see if you enjoy it. If not, you don't have a $1000 ornament in the garage collecting dust, if you do like it, you've saved $800 +, and if you decide you enjoy cycling and want to upgrade, sell it in the classifieds, bet you get $100 for it in a few months. just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  16. nope, you only have one in stock, just bought the other. Thanks Shuey, I look forward to playing with it. just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  17. shuey, tried to buy a desert camo HAWG today, and it won't let me, any idea when you will have them back in stock? Thanks Gory just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you
  18. Yes, it's permanent, I wasn't aware the tubes disconnected, sorry for any false hopes.
  19. re the leaky pipe. When I was SCUBA diving I was made aware of a product called Aquasure (or similar) that might help. It sticks to about anything and is tough - it is like bathtub sealant on steroids. I fixed a hole in a drysuit with it and had no leakage at 50 meters (about 6x atmospheric pressure). I have seen it in outdoors stores here, maybe that will fix your leak.
  20. If you had clicked my username, it takes you to my profile, with an e-mail address, but to save time it's Gory669214@cs.com. The cache I'm refering to is Tube Torcher, anyone up for it?
  21. I'm all fired up about a cache in NC, looks like a toughie. Any fellow cachers know the one I'm talking about? e-mail the one I'm thinking of to me (so I know we are on the same page, and so we don't tell the whole world) if you fancy a crack at it. If you have a cel phone to call the ambulance, that might be good, if you cache with guns and knives, please don't apply See you in NC Gory
  22. Thank you all for the advice and opinions, looks like it's time to shop! Thanks again Gory
  23. Hi all, I'm considering the purchase of a camelback backpack, but have heard reports of condensation issues within the unit. I hike with camera gear, which doesn't really appreciate getting damp, do any of you use these things? are the packs dry inside on hot or damp days? or do they suffer from condensation? Thanks, Greg
  24. Help me out here, this thred is rather long at 5 pages, I red a good bit of it but please could you answer these questions, it may help other latecomers too; 1. are the prices on your website (in red) the prices GEOcachers pay, or are the discounts on top of these? 2. What 'specials' currently apply? (discount on extras, free dryers?) and what 'code words' do we use on the order form to ensure we get them? 3. the Motherlode - I carry a quantity of photography equipment when hikeing/ GEOcacheing, do the compartments stay dry or is humidity/ any leakage from the bladder likely to intrude? 4. Is there a larger product than the Motherlode? if so, same question as 3. Thanks in advance, I must say it looks like you are offering a great deal Gory
  25. Thanks Kenneth, now all I need to do is get my canoe out of the shed
