  1. If one comes across a cache that one BELIEVES (how can one be 100% sure it is gone?) is missing, a simple Needs Archived log on the cache page should start action. The reviewer in the area will get a copy of the NA log, and should examine the situation and work it for you.
  2. Has anyone successfully been able to transfer route and waypoint data created using a Garmin 60csx to a Garmin Nuvi? If so, what application or software have you used? And steps?
  3. The guy who introduced me to caching years ago actually found a coin that had been in a travel bag for 2 YEARS, Needless to say, he was embarassed and apologized profusely to the coin owner. He thinks one of the kids actually grabbed it and threw it in the bag without logging it. So the owner never knew where it had gone.
  4. Two stories regarding the long arm of the law. Caching in Orange County California - long way from home. Investigating a large electrical box on the side of one of their mega-malls. Here a voice say, "Excuse me sir, but what are you doing?". Explain caching, and chat for a bit. She is satisfied and moves on. About four of us caching on the University of Oregon Campus at night. Two bike cops ride by and then return a few minutes later. Again, explain caching. This time they HELP. Still end up with a DNF. If it was easy, it wouldn't be fun.
  5. Does anyone have an idea if here is a "record" for the most (legitimate) consecutive days caching with finds? We have a (somewhat demented) cacher in our area who now has at least one find on 273 consecutive days (and counting).
  6. This is the season for me to be late. Late to shop, late to wrap... Hopefully not too late for this too. Sent details via email. Thanks
  7. I have idea for a new series of caches, but I will need a number of folks who live in different states. I am looking for about 8 - 12 cachers who really like puzzles. If intriqued, give me a shout.
  8. Just wondering what one must do to "get on the list"? Pleae consider me to be late, but VERY interested.
  9. Please order one standard DNF coin for Seal Rock George (sealrockgeorge@comcast.net)
  10. YJTB's were launched this past weekend in Oregon. You will see them in Caches in the next couple of days.
