I had been wondering for a while just how many other teen cachers there were.

That happened to me once. A new multi popped up, and I saw no one had found, so off I went to the starting point. Being GPSless and Car/bikeless at the time though, I had to walk about a half mile to the starting location, walk back to my house, enter the coords on Google Earth, then walk back to the same area. Turns out the cache was right across the street. I ended being the third to find on that one.

A true FTF Hound

That happened to me just today actually. I was making my rounds, checking on my caches, when I saw a group of four people disappear into some bushes next to a sidewalk right next to where my cache was. I spied on them from a distance, then when they were leaving asked them if they had found the cache. They hadn't, so I gave them a hint and they found it pretty quickly. We talked a bit then went our separate ways.

If I happen to be wearing my Top Gun-style glasses or shirt, I just smile politely and say "It's classified. I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you."
