  1. Kettle? Nope. Not bright enough. 22 and this little poser has life all figured out... Love his idea about writing a book on his life. "Well... today I did the same thing as yesterday. I screwed around on the computer until Mom came home and made me stop." Should be a big hit.
  2. Rhode Island would be a pretty tiny little coin... That WOULD be a pretty cool idea, though.
  3. Yesterday, a package came for my son from far away Tazmania. He was gone all day to a gaming convention, so we had to wait until almost 11 PM to see what it was. He recieved a nice package for the Birthday Mission. Besides a very nice koala card, he got an Original Stash geocoin and matching pin, a Happy Birthday Cacher coin and a SirGerald personal coin. The pin is already on his cachin' hat! He would like to say "Thank you!" to the sender of this nice package.

  5. I had to re-read Vinny's response looking for the hook... Even disregarding the tree climbing caches and the rest of the list mentioned by Vinny, it seems like geocachers are, for the most part, a cautious bunch. Or possibly just lucky. With any group this large, the odds are that someone should have had a serious or fatal accident by now. If it had happened, it would have been well known in these forums. Or it could be that the bodies have just never been found. Only a little off topic, but I'm continually amazed by the fact that I have had zero injuries while caching. I can recall only tripping and falling one time. What are the odds?
  6. A Three Redneck Tenors concert?
  7. Well, just about a lifetime ago I went to my first "real" concert and had the pleasure of seeing RUSH during their All the World's a Stage tour. Pretty sure that's not the same as your first, but it was one of the best concerts that I've ever been to.
  8. You're going nowhere. Staying home and reading forum posts all day long.

  10. On a very dark night, you can find a cache in the woods by the light of a cell phone.
  11. Way to go The 4 F's! I'm done. Way too much time spent on it. If I ever do figure it out, you can bet I'm going to steal it!
  12. In this forum or in this thread? For a guy with no puzzle caches, you're starting out with a good one.
  13. It took a few seconds to remember the reference.
  14. Is this a hint or just a hiccup? I've got about six hours into this so far, and I'm no closer than I was after the first half hour...
  15. Wow! You really need to bring these to our next event! "You know you're a geocoin addict when...."
  16. Fact: Nova Scotia is the warmest Canadian province. Knock! Knock! Who's there? Snow! Snow who? Snow business like show business!
  17. Hmmm... I'll guess 38. I hope everyone is having a very Happy Holidays!
  18. This has happened to me only once so far. After searching the only tree anywhere near GZ without finding anything, we started walking back to the parking area. Just as we got back to the car, another car pulled in to the lot. The cache owner introduced himself and said he didn't expect anyone to be searching for it that quickly. We signed the log in the parking lot and let him go throw the container under the pine tree.
  19. The cow coin is the 2008 Wisconsin coin. I got a couple of those in the mail last week as well. Happy Holidays to everyone! TBC
  20. Not a great photo. Thanks for the cointest and Happy Holidays!
  21. There are a couple of way to do what you want. One of the most common is to use GSAK. CacheStats from Logicweave.com is another, and I think that one is free. There are a couple more that will be pointed out in other posts.
  22. Oooo... A new toy! A bit pricey for me, but I can think of a few caches where it would have come in very handy.
