  1. Yes. Very much worth it. People have spent a lot more on a lot less.
  2. Quartz crystal matrix... banana...
  3. You can probably make cache containers for a lot less money and time instead of buying them online. Also, Amazon.com has a pretty good selection of containers, and they come by mail pretty fast.
  4. Keystone is right, though. The only time anyone ever makes a forum thread about a Geocaching staff member is when something bad happens.
  5. I'm with you on this one. I thought for sure he was going to get hammered for asking. I'll bet there is a percentage of COs out there that would love to hire someone to manage their caches for them.
  6. I tried to give you a favorite but I guess I have to find the cache first. Bummer.
  7. I did a little research after your archived log rant was posted on here- it appears you've archived all of your caches with the same rant whether your caches needed to be archived or not. And some logs say "Not enough quality cachers in this area to keep this going" ??? And then in one log you disrespect city workers by calling them drug addicts??? Maybe...you bring some of this on yourself? Just saying.
  8. I think they would have made this realization long before they started publishing the blog for the Mary Hyde adventure. The overall goal is to recognize TB's this week, and knowing full well that there are very limited TBs left, it might also be a promotion for some to go out and buy TBs. In addition to all of this, finding two caches might be given as an alternative.
  9. There's always two sides to the story. I've published seven caches (soon to be eight) and I haven't had any issues with Groundspeak, reviewers, lackeys or moderators. To go out of my way to look up a reviewer on Facebook seems to be a little creepy, to be honest. But hey, to each their own.
  10. Because in the end learning is the objective. Someone who made an attempt, and then open discussion with ECO takes place, and then answers are discussed-objective met.
  11. "If I get answers which are not correct or only partially correct I won't deny the find if there has been a genuine attempt to understand."
  12. Thats because 99.9 % of ECO's aren't out to be difficult. As long as you go to the location, and give your best effort to answer the questions, you won't have any issues.
  13. I'm not sure a Letterbox Hybrid has a virtual stage.
  14. Just from a curiosity standpoint: why the delay on checking to make sure the cache was okay, and allowing the cache to be archived? If this is your cache that is.
  15. I mean. This is a valid point. Cheers, fellow Washingtonian!
  16. Maybe. And that's perfectly fine. Not everyone is going to be able to find a TB to move it along. It's obvious that some view souvenirs as an accomplish. I view them as a fun addition to geocaching to help spark interest. And yes, I was referring to the D5/T5 task.
  17. I like finding money in caches.
  18. Did you forget about Geocaching Roadtrip of 2015?
  19. I think it's perfectly okay and appropriate for Groundspeak to make collecting these souvenirs easy enough for anyone to get. It is a game, and making souvenirs less hard to get doesn't make it any less of a game.
